Vail elegance, charm, and comfort - without the sticker shock - are waiting in this stylish and spacious East Vail vacation townhome. Nestled on Bald Mountain (just eight minutes east of that world-renowned, upscale playground), you'll be located right on a bus stop where you can hop on a free shuttle that will whisk you away to all the wonderful things to see and do in the exciting and colorful Vail Valley Corridor. Awesome views of the pine-studded Rockies from the deck, and three amenity-filled stories make this tri-level townhome a gorgeous and affordable Colorado gem.
After a day shooting the rapids on nearby Eagle Creek, you've got some stories to tell, and what better place than this lovely living area, bathed in Colorado sunlight through the overhead skylights. Pop the top on a cool one, and sink into the plush comfort of the leather furniture, surrounded by a tasteful decor that's a lovely blend of deco and Southwestern. Nights can be chilly in the Rockies, but you're ready! Just flip on the gas fireplace and watch your favorite cable show, or just kick back and dive into the next chapter of that novel. Before going to bed, step out on the deck and enjoy the incredible view, and a big breath of mountain air.
And the luxury doesn't stop there. Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms and a loft with accommodations suitable for up to eight people. Each of the two bedrooms has a king bed, both covered with a mound of soft bedding and pillows. One has a stylish armoire for your clothes. In both, you'll wake up to the same great view of the surrounding hills. There's more room up in the loft where you can bed down on queen bed, or a twin bunk. Up here, you'll also be able to watch a movie or a cable show before bed. Getting ready will be easy with 2.5 baths, and you'll always have a fresh change of clothes with the washer and dryer.
Everything from a five-star meal to a sandwich is waiting just an eight-minute drive down the road in Vail. But choose carefully: there are about 110 places to eat in and around Vail. Then again, why not make it easy. Stay in, and fix something in this townhome's fully equipped kitchen. Tucked under the loft, it has whatever you'll need - like a stove, fridge, microwave, and plenty of utensils - to make a hearty meal without the bother of dressing up and going out. Sit down and enjoy it at the cute, wooden dining set with padded chairs and room for six. Or, in summer, get the gas grill going out on the deck and enjoy a barbeque under the Colorado sun.
Vail is, after all, about the skiing, and with 5,289 acres of ski-able/boardable slopes, 19 rental facilities, and a system of shuttles ready to whisk you anywhere, winter fun isn't very far away! In the green of summer, the hills around Vail are criss-crossed with trails for your bike and your boots. There are five trails in the immediate area including hikes to Booth Falls and Beaver Lake. The Eagle River is also close by, just waiting for your kayak, your fishing line, and to toss you about on an exhilarating white-water raft trip! Vail Golf Club is right nearby, so make sure you bring the clubs. There are fifteen other places to tee up in the area, each one delivering a challenging game and an unparalleled Rocky Mountain landscape. And then there's Vail Village, that trendy and elegant town that sets the bar for world-class dining and shopping.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Stayed at the property for a hiking trip in the September. Very nice and conveniently located townhome.
* Near Vail
* Very spacious and comfortable with multiple bathrooms
* Pretty location with great views
* Well stocked kitchen for cooking
* TV and movies/board games provided
* Responsive management
* Sheets were not washed when we got to the unit. (The management was apologetic and willing to remedy the mistake)
* [Minor] The walk up to the unit from the parking lot was about 100 steps up a fairly steep slope. This could make it less accessible for those with lots of luggage or who are not active.
Besides a little uphill (my wife cared but my son and I didn't) to the unit everything was great. The neighbors was clean and nice, the view from the balcony by the time we stayed was beautiful. Very convenience to get to Vail, stores on Frontage Rd.
Overall, we enjoyed our short stay at the property in Vail. The layout was very nice, and the amenities were perfect. It is a very nice property.
However, we ran into a couple issues that couldn't be resolved. There were no instructions for the cable TV, and with a myriad of electronic controllers, we couldn't get the cable to work. We called the number listed for assistance, but they weren't able to help. With 3 kids, the TV would have been a real benefit.
We also had trouble with the clothes washer. The door latch didn't close properly, and so the appliance wouldn't work. again, we called for assistance, but it wasn't addressed during our stay. We ended up at the laundromat - not ideal during a vacation.
With a little more instruction and on-site assistance, this would be a great option for Vail.
This was a wonderful property. The other reviews aren't joking about the hike up to the home, but it only takes a minute to catch your breath once up there :) It was a great place to stay, very spacious, and close to Vail Village. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone we know.
