About the property

One Story and Two Bedroom Townhouse with full kitchen, dining, laundry & garage

FULLY FURNISHED AND STOCKED

Across the street, relax or play in the grass fields of the Martineztown city park. The Martineztown park is home of the sculpture, Southwest Pieta by Luis Jimenez.

Former President Bill Clinton dedicated this statue as a national treasure. This treasure stands just outside the door of the townhouse.

Within walking distance, visit the historic church built in 1889 and Manuel's Food Market established in 1925. Manuel's Food Market, known as 'Manuel's' is well stocked with basic grocery needs such as eggs, milk, bread, and a variety of snacks.

Then, ride the New Mexico Rail Runner Express. This train services Santa Fe and other outlining areas. The main train station is 1 mile from the townhouse.

This condo is in the center of New Mexico's famous tri-cultural atmosphere.

So named The Blanket House, this townhouse offers cozy warmth with high quality bedding, a variety of pillows, and both heavy and light weight comforters.

The unit has a full kitchen, washing machine, clothes dryer, large master bedroom with walk-in closet, guest bedroom large enough for two twins or one king bed. The dining table may be extended to accommodate a larger party.

The quarry tile flooring in all rooms adds the southwest character.

The unit has a private, large two-car garage available to the guest.

In addition, high speed WIFI extends throughout the condo.

We do allow pets. The private yard is surrounded by block walls which provide a safe place for pets.

Young children also benefit from the safe, enclosed yard. When they wish to explore beyond the safety of the private yard, there is a city park with playground equipment.

An upright piano offers entertainment and a place to practice for the musicians at heart.

(If your needs include wheelchair or scooter accessibility, please contact the owner. We remodeled this property with your needs in mind.)

Hope to see you soon.

Great home...Great Location...Highly Reecommend

  • 5 of 5

We spent our final week in New Mexico at this lovely, adobe-style home. It was a perfect size for us (a senior couple) but would be quite adequate for a family of four, though you'd be sharing its one bathroom. The combined living, dining and kitchen area made the space live larger than it is, but we're fans of the "great room" concept. Its the way we live at home. We made good use of the fridge and microwave, but did not use the available stove. washer and dryer or dish washer. Plenty of fresh bath linens were provided as were a few toiletry essentials (soap, shampoo, toilet paper etc). We also appreciated a fully functioning WIFI with excellent service and the secure two-car garage...our rental car was safely tucked away.

The neighborhood is nice and felt safe...be sure to walk the front street and appreciate its historical significance, explained through several interpretive panels along the first couple blocks. The location cold not have been better for us...midway between Downtown and the University/Nob Hill district (we walked both ways about 20-25 minutes each direction). Old Town was a short drive as were several important museums and cultural centers. The "Beach" and the Sandia Tram were each about a 20 minute drive. Last but not least, the owner was easy to deal with and communicate with before and during our stay.

The Secret Garden

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay at The Secret Garden! Great, quiet neighborhood in a convenient location. Very comfortable accommodation, with everything we needed supplied.

We might suggest a non-stick fry pan and a patio table be added. We'd definitely come back! Thanks, Anissa :-)

Owner's Response: Thank you for the note on the non-stick pan. I also noticed some of the pans are leaving a residue on the glass cooktop stove, so I will take a new set of pots and pans.

So clean and a great place during the weekend!!

  • 5 of 5

What a great location!! The park was perfect for my dog and on weekend nights we could hear the music from the free concerts downtown! It was beautiful. And we were in walking distance from the farmers market and a few really great restaurants like the artichoke cafe and taqueria. And the condo is very clean and was set up just perfect for us. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was so perfectly set up for it.

In town condo

  • 4 of 5

This was a lovely intown condo with a very private courtyard complete with seating and a grill to cook on. The condo was well equipped with kitchen utensils, towels and bedding. The furnishings were good. The neighborhood was close to the highways, the convention center and old town. It allowed for easy access to the sights and adventures one would want to pursue in Albuquerque. I recommend it for easy on off the highway, and access to all that you want to see. Annisa is a lovely person to work with.
