About Jill Maynard Nolan

Jill went to Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield,VT. The Valley is such a beautiful and fun place to get away! We have another location in Pittsford Vermont.

Jill Maynard Nolan purchased this house in 2013

Why Jill Maynard Nolan chose Fayston

We chose this property because it is so close to the town of Waitsfield,VT. You can walk to the movies and many restaurants. There is a great farmers market all summer on Saturdays that is one of the best in Vermont

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with the property because of the views and the beautiful fireplace in the living room. We spend plenty of nights playing cards and games in front of the fire.

Beautiful & comfortable home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Jill's home in February 2018, with two other families, and enjoyed the spacious accommodations. The home has 1 king, 6 queen and 2 twin beds, which was perfect for our group of twelve people! Four queens, one twin and two baths are on the top floor, Master with full bath is on the main floor (also has a half bath), and the lower level has two queens, one twin, and one bath. The beds are very comfortable - something you would expect from a luxurious B&B, and a welcome relief after a fun day of activity! The kitchen has been partially renovated and is well appointed for meals - we used the gas grill on the deck to cook steaks from the Butchery, and prepared side dishes on the gas stove top. We were able to seat the adults at the kitchen table, with the kids in the dining room. The adults also enjoyed apres' ski in front of the fireplace, while the kids watched movies in the separate den. The ping pong table in the lower level was a big hit. Jill is a wonderful host & very responsive if you have questions. There are not many home rentals that can accommodate groups of our size in Sugar Bush, so this home was a gem and great find! Highly recommend!

Fantastic House minutes from Sugarbush

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this house was tops.

From the time we booked Jill was responsive and helpful. They had some great restaurant recommendations as well.

The house is as pictured. Except there are 7 bedrooms not 6! There is even a second kitchen downstairs.

The living and family room were super comfortable and the house was toasty even when negative 16 outside.

The fireplace was great!

I loved watching sunrise through the huge windows and the slopes of sugarbush turn pink.

Internet worked and so did cable , plenty of channels.

The furnace did go out but Jill had a repairman there in 30 minutes and was fixed straight away.

That to me was super impressive.

They had board games and some interesting books throughout the house.

I would absolutely rent here again.

Restful and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the Nolan property for a week over Thanksgiving. We were there for the one time a year when we are all with our four children, their spouses and our grandchildren all together. It snowed and there was plenty of firewood to help us feel warm and cozy with our cocktails and each other's company. There is plenty of room to spread out. Although the kitchen remodel wasn't finished yet, it was quite workable (and our group included a chef and a pastry chef). The lower level has basically it's own two bedroom apartment, so the extra kitchen came in very handy with feeding such a large crowd. Beautiful scenic view of the Mad River Glen ski slopes. Worth a stay!

There is a fantastic farmers market in walking distance. We are close to all of the wedding venues. Skiing is a so close to us. There are many breweries in Vermont and we are a short drive away from quite a few! There is also wonderful river swimming and tubing that is amazing!
