About Jill Maynard Nolan

Jill went to Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield,VT. The Valley is such a beautiful and fun place to get away! We have another location in Pittsford Vermont.

Jill Maynard Nolan purchased this house in 2013

Why Jill Maynard Nolan chose Sugarbush, Mad River Glen

We chose this property because it is so close to the town of Waitsfield,VT. You can walk to the movies and many restaurants. There is a great farmers market all summer on Saturdays that is one of the best in Vermont

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with the property because of the views and the beautiful fireplace in the living room. We spend plenty of nights playing cards and games in front of the fire.

Beautiful home, perfect for our group

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend. The house was clean and organized. Just minutes from downtown and a beautiful view of Sugarbush.

Restful and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the Nolan property for a week over Thanksgiving. We were there for the one time a year when we are all with our four children, their spouses and our grandchildren all together. It snowed and there was plenty of firewood to help us feel warm and cozy with our cocktails and each other's company. There is plenty of room to spread out. Although the kitchen remodel wasn't finished yet, it was quite workable (and our group included a chef and a pastry chef). The lower level has basically it's own two bedroom apartment, so the extra kitchen came in very handy with feeding such a large crowd. Beautiful scenic view of the Mad River Glen ski slopes. Worth a stay!

Beautiful mountain home!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very spacious, and nicely laid out. Three of the bedrooms have private baths, and the others are shared. Can easily accommodate 4 couples or 2-3 families. The kitchen is being remodeled, but is well appointed. Nice front and back decks. Only downside was absence of AC on what turned out to be a rare hot and humid weekend in Vermont. There were fans to help though. We would undoubtedly go back if returning to vacation in that area.

Wonderful location for a family reunion

  • 5 of 5

The Nolan's house is spacious, with a beautiful view, easy access to Waitsfield and the Mad River's fun swimming holes. The house has many bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, gathering spaces of multiple kinds (living room, tv room, large eat-in kitchen, dining room, basement family room too, deck, porch). We really enjoyed the neighboring organic farm and the Saturday morning farmers' market. Everything about this well-designed house made it very enjoyable for our 4 day stay.

Wonderful place to stay with family and friends!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jill's place! The sizable house offered a spacious stay for us and our guests, and we loved the amenities -- the fire pit, the games. It was the perfect destination from which to enjoy all that Waitsfield has to offer. To top it off, Jill was accessible, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. We would gladly return here any season!

Cozy and close

  • 5 of 5

Jill's place has everything for grandparents, young parents and children. Lots of bedrooms and baths for excellent sleeping choices. Internet, sat TV let everyone stay connected/entertained; several family movies and games made it feel just like home. Steps to neighboring farm, blueberry picking. Front porch and back deck got plenty of use by all. Helpful, friendly owner was final touch. We'll be back.
