Christmas in Kaslo

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful house with great view of Kaslo Harbour, Kootenay Lake, and the surrounding mountains. Hosts were great, easy to get a hold of and took care of snow removal when required. Kaslo is a nice little town with a surprising number of restaurant and shopping choices. Great recreational opportunities are just outside the front door - check out the Kaslo River Trail, Mt Buchannan and the K&S Wagon Road Trail. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Well appointed rental in a peaceful setting

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed for 2 nights in late November. The views from the house of the mountains and harbour provided a beautiful and ever changing backdrop.

Have previously stayed in Nelson and wanted to get off the beaten track a bit more. Kaslo has everything needed to provide for cooking in the thoughtfully laid out kitchen, enjoyed the many trails around town and liked the close proximity to Ainsworth. We would definitely stay again, (maybe in summer to take advantage of the gorgeous deck)

The layout of the house was great for our family!

Spectacular house in a quaint location!

  • 5 of 5

I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the Kaslo area. We stayed here for a fall getaway to ainsworth hot springs and had a wonderful time. For three couples this property was ideal! Everything was well maintained and clean. Ammentities do include wifi that I didn't see listed which was a huge plus! Thanks again for a great stay and we will definitely be booking with you again!

A Must Stay!

  • 5 of 5

For those who enjoy traveling to serene and relaxing places....Kaslo is somewhere you must put on your list. We have visited Kaslo every year for the past 8 years but this year we added the cherry on top by staying at this property. The view from the deck alone will bring myself, my wife, and parents back for years to come. Enjoying a nice breakfast on the deck was only topped by taking in the views with a drink in had during the evening. Amazing views of the lake and surrounding forest from not only the deck but most of the rooms in the house including the master bedroom. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was more than enough for myself, my wife, our new born, my parents, and our dog! Staying in Kaslo was never in question and now there is no doubt that staying here while taking in Kaslo's gems is a must for our family. Waling distance to the beach, hiking trails, quaint coffee shops and restaurants. Walking to the local butcher shop to select something to grill back at the house is definitely a must. A great home base for those who want to explore the surrounding out doors, ride the amazing roads or sit back and enjoy your days sitting on the deck BBQing food from the local stores ....I must also say that Dominique and Paul were fantastic...they were very helpful and as pleasant as Kaslo itself.
