About Erin Spaulding

I grew up about 45 minutes south of Traverse City in a little village named Kaleva. I've always been fascinated by the history of the Traverse City State Hospital and the effort put forth by the developers to bring its grounds back to life. In fact... I love the property so much that my husband and I were the FIRST couple to be married in historic Kirkbride Hall! (May 25th, 2014).

I love to visit and explore new places, so I'm happy to be able to provide a spot for others like myself to do just that. Traverse City is definitely a one-of-a-kind place and I'll always call it home!

I'm excited to provide guests with any tips on where to go and what to do during their stay. Just message me!

Why Erin Spaulding chose Northwest

The reason I bought this condo was because I wanted to be a part of the history of the Grand Traverse Commons.

What makes this condo unique

What I love most about this property is the access to lots of fun places and activities (that are within steps) while staying in a cozy, quiet space.

Historic loft vibe in great location

  • 5 of 5

This cozy place was perfect for my needs. It's well appointed with good quality towels, toiletries, appliances and decor. Erin doesn't skimp on these items, which always makes a stay away from home so much more pleasant. Wifi works great and the shower has great water pressure. The building is quiet, clean and safe, and it's a treat to wander around and discover the various shops and restaurants. And Erin is a dream to do business with - friendly, helpful, easy to reach, flexible and very fair. I'll be back!

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Loved staying here! Condo was immaculate and perfect for the weekend. This is the 2nd time we rented on vrbo instead of staying at a hotel and we're so glad we did! This was a last minute rental, Erin was fantastic to work with. Location doesn't get much better than this. We walked to Stella for dinner on Friday and went to Pepenero on Saturday. Both were incredible! I will definitely look to stay here again!

Beautiful Stay In Grand Traverse Commons

  • 5 of 5

Due to Hurricane Matthew, my wife and I had to reschedule our Hilton Head trip. We decided to do north and enjoy the fall colors in western Michigan. Erin offered a beautiful condo located in The Village Grand Traverse Commons. The Commons is its own incredible community with: coffee roasters, an award winning bakery, highly rated restaurants, and shops. This was our first trip to Traverse City and western Michigan. We explored TC, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, M22, the Mission peninsula, and Mackinac Island. Erin has a fantastic condo and she has thought of all the little things that meant a lot to my wife. I'd highly recommend Erin and her condo.
