2 lightweight paddleboards and life vests available.
Just stayed there for a girls' weekend and LOVED the property! The pictures just don't do it justice, but none of the pictures that I took did either.
Outside: long dock (wide enough for us to all lounge/talk in a circle), looks across lake to green hills, fog on lake was beautiful in the morning, two stand-up paddleboards were available (and we had lots of fun with them!), fire pit with chairs on the beach, additional deck chairs and table that would seat 6+ on deck overlooking the water, path/trail in front of house that was great for walks/runs. We spent a lot of our time outside and there was a lot of variety in places to sit and things to do.
Living Room: good sized living room open to entryway, HUGE windows and sliding glass door, the wood used on the floor and along the loft looks like repurposed wood adding to charm and uniqueness, couch and chairs were really comfy for lots of sitting/talking time, and there were throw blankets included (perfect for a girls' weekend). We used the WIFI, and it worked well while connected to multiple devices. Didn't use the TV much, but it did have cable and a large screen.
Kitchen/Dining - my friends used the kitchen more than I did, but I think all needed items were there; there was a dining table that we didn't really use because we always sat outside for meals
Bedrooms - Of three bedrooms, two overlook lake. One is actually a loft so has terrific views (overlooks the living room windows too), but wouldn't be private/quiet if you need that. It was in the 70's when we were there, and it got warm at night. We could have used fans but couldn't find any. I had the loft bedroom and loved it!
Bathroom: Perfectly fine. Nothing 5-star-hotel fancy, but good for our needs.
Artwork: the owner is an artist so there are original pieces of art throughout the house (including outside), made it much more unique than other properties
The house has a get-away-from-it-all feeling but is convenient to Sammamish, Redmond, Issaquah. We also went to Bellevue but it's on the opposite side of the lake so not as convenient. And if you want to explore Seattle by day but don't want city-living, this would be a good choice.
(I checked "Families with young children" because we had a friend's young children over and there was room to dance and we could play in and by the lake, but it might not be ideal for rowdy elementary-aged kids if they prefer playing inside. It's fairly childproof, but there are some items you would want to move)
Walking trail connects you to Issaquah, historic Pickering Barn with summertime Saturday Farmers Market. City of Sammamish Wednesday Farmers' Market 5 min drive.
Many local free concerts in the parks through City of Issaquah and City of Sammamish, and Marymoor Park in Redmond.
