Awesome House and Location

  • 5 of 5

Dale's house was perfect for the six of us during our weekend stay in Asbury. The house itself was spacious, had great chill areas, and a kitchen with then essentials needed to cook, make coffee, etc. Parking nearby was not an issue on the street, and the beach was about a 5-10 min walk away! Dale left 6 beach passes for us to use, and also in each room, there were two chairs and two towels. He also gave us the rundown of popular places to go while in town. Grateful Dead posters/art everywhere in the house and a bunch of other quirky items. We had a blast, other than leaving a stain on a very nice chair, which Dale settled amicably at not much cost. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great property, perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this for a girls weekend and it was everything we could hope for and more! The owner was extremely accommodating - and everything you could hope for is included (linens, beach towels, chairs, passes, etc). The whole process was incredibly easy, and he even left of us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift! Plenty of sleeping space and areas to gather socially both inside and out. The location was perfect for us, a close walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend and hope to book again in the future.

Great location, well maintained house

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to the House of Burgess. Great spot for a weekend away from the city. The house is very clean and well equipped (including beach passes). We love staying there - and so does our lab!

Great house in one of my favorite towns

  • 5 of 5

We've been visiting Asbury Park for more than 10 years, and have stayed in a bunch of different hotels and houses.

We loved our stay at the House of Burgess! Incredibly clean, open, roomy, and well-stocked. Thoughtful beach towels and chairs in each bedroom. Easy walk to to the beach and other amusements. Dale was super communicative throughout, from booking to check out. It was a great stay for our 5 adults. Hope to go back soon!

Voted among New Jersey's top 10 beaches; you are sure to enjoy your time soaking up the summer rays in Asbury Park.

For the 'foodie' Asbury Park offers many of the area's newest and most renowned restaurants.

Look no further than Asbury Park for nightlife!. The boardwalk features such famed music venues as: the Stone Pony, Conventional Hall and Paramount Theater, (each attracting national acts.) You'll also find a surprisingly extensive mix of smaller live music venues, relaxed lounges, LGBT dance clubs and casual bars and pubs.

In the mood for shopping? Take a stroll down Cookman Avenue, (just a short walk from the boardwalk.) Cookman Avenue, (considered Asbury Park's downtown,) serves up several niche boutiques with goods ranging from everyday to eclectic. Let's not forget the antiquing either.

Asbury Park is a true gem of diversity on the Jersey shore. Come see for yourself what the hype is all about. You won't be disappointed.
