Exceeded expectations, host very attentive, perfect location

Stayed with my wife and a friend. Honestly completely felt what it would be like to live in the Big Easy, better experience then a hotel/resort. Beautiful place, nicely put together with attention to detail. Excellent neighborhood. We are active so walked a lot it was only a 30-45 minute walk to tourist areas, bourbon street, etc. and not scary at all. Great cafes and restaurants within 1/2 mile to mile of condo (on Magazine St.) cool balcony above intersection to chill at and people watch. When we did cab or uber, it was only 5-13 dollars anywhere we went. Lots of coffee options if you choose around the condo. Was so amazed at how friendly everyone was, everywhere, not once experienced any rudeness in our adventures throughout and we also went out in our Seahawks gear one of the days to go to the game, which was great even in a close loss. We would love to visit again, especially on Halloween again, and would want to stay at this exact same place!

Calvin's loft is perfectly laid out for two couples. Separate bedroom suites with a large, airy common space. Real functioning kitchen and great porch overlooking Magazine Street. Calvin is a gracious and super accommodating host. Couldn't have hoped for a better experience:)

Perfect perching!

  • 5 of 5

We visited NOLA for thanksgiving break while visiting my brother. This place could not have been any better!

It was tastefully remodeled and decorated in a simple and modern style yet you could still appreciate the original character of the building. Everything was very comfortable and spotless!!

The terrace was such a bonus! We had cocktails there every evening while people watching.

The FQ was close by and great shopping on magazine at.

There was a Whole Foods about 2 miles away where we had preordered thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious.

Overall it was a great stay! Highly recommend.

Comfortable, convenient apartment

  • 5 of 5

We loved our four days in New Orleans. The apartment is exactly as described. Beds are really comfortable, AC works well. We drove from Chicago; there's a parking area for renters use. Although it overlooks Magazine St., noise was minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment in heart of NOLA life

  • 5 of 5

The apartment layout is perfect for 2 persons or 2 couples and the 15-foot high ceilings and heart pine floors are amazing to behold. I love the minimalist RH-inspired décor and the balcony is perfect for sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. I would rent this one again and again!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

What a great property! A group of four of us decided to stay here and the size of the place was perfect. A very clean space where everything was up to date or renovated within the last couple of years. I thoroughly enjoyed the location, being able to walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The walkout wrap around balcony was the clincher for me. Calvin, the owner was awesome, very charming and checkd in with us to ensure everything was to our liking. I will definitely looking to book this space the next time I'm in NOLA
