Guestbook comments from the owner

My family and I traveled from Italy to stay in the Jena Street Home. It was spacious and clean. The neighborhood was delightful with plenty of restaurants with in walking distance to choose from. Ironically, a hair salon with in 3 blocks for us to relax and have our hair styled for a night our on the town.

Rebecca was a great host with all her neighborhood recommendations to eat.

We will defiantly stay here again.

Fantastic!!!

  • 5 of 5

12 members of my family stayed comfortably in this house. We had plenty of space to be together and also to have quiet time alone if wanted. There were ample bathrooms and beds and every detail was attended to by our host! Great location too! Would highly recommend this place...just ask for directions on operating the master bedroom high tech shower before getting in!!!

Jazzfest 2017 Baltimore Crew

  • 5 of 5

So this was the absolutely the greatest experience through any rental service I have ever used! Rebecca was and is the best host of them all. From start to finish, her service, hospitality, and availibility were second to none. We arrived to New Orleans for Jazzfest a few hours early and she was able to accommodate us before check in time. This was key because we were traveling with a group of 16, arriving at various times and this allowed us to check in and get situated before the other guests arrived. This house is absolutely gorgeous! So true to New Orleans, with the art, oil paintings, and era specific furnishings it set the mood perfectly for our Jazzfest weekend. Don't let the photos fool you, it is really that big!!! A mini mansion really, so much room for 16 full grown adults to stretch out and not feel on top of each other, We found ourselves hanging out in the piano parlor a lot as we had a piano man with us. Rebecca's provided grocery service was so helpful. We did not have a car and it was wonderful to fly in, uber to the house and have everything we needed already chilled and stocked in the pantries and refrigerators. Yes I said refrigerators! there are 2 of them! She even had jazz music playing for us when we entered the home, so classy! The neighborhood was so great! Safe, quite (when you needed it to be) and close to dining and streetcar stops. I cannot even find the right words to truly decribe such a great experience we had. This was a 40th birthday celebration that I hosted and without Rebecca's amazing home and hospitality I really don't think it would have been as perfect as it was. Even the personal chef I hired to host a dinner party Saturday night commented on how beautiful the house was! I just cannot thank her enough on making this so perfect. Every little attention to detail was not overlooked, even leaving out umbrellas because there was rain forecasted!

New Orleans has many beautiful homes for rent, this being one of them but what makes this one stand out is the amazing owner who's attention to detail and hospitality which made it so special. I recommend anyone who is looking to start and stop here. No need to look any further, unless of course I already rented it!

"laissez le bon temps rouler" Cheers!

Beautiful house in a perfect location in NOLA!

  • 5 of 5

We had a very nice experience in our recent stay and the owner is great to work with. The house is beautiful, the master suite is large and extravagant; a couple blocks from the trolley which is a very pleasant way to get downtown and to the French Quarter. The kitchen is well appointed and there are two sets of washers and dryers. Great for family groups. We would rent it again.

Great Spot for a Bachelorette Party

  • 5 of 5

We had a large group staying in Rebecca's home for a bachelorette party. Everyone had plenty of space, and there were great communal areas for everyone to hang out. We had two minor issues during our stay which were acknowledged and fixed by Rebecca ASAP. We appreciated the welcome basket and also loved the location!

Classic NOLA Home, Perfect Location and The Best Host You Could Ask For!!!

  • 5 of 5

Firstly, Rebecca is such a great host, beyond great actually AMAZING!!! We rented 2 homes from Rebecca for our Wedding Vacation in which we has 20 people in total in NOLA for our Wedding on the 12th. We were literally 3 houses away from each other which made it convenient to have dinner and breakfast together at the Uptown Nola property 579514 as it was the biggest home. This home was immaculate and huge! We had more than enough space and bathrooms! The art in the house was amazing, the piano room beautiful, the front porch and little porches throughout the house were so nice to have. We had 3 little ones under 8 and they had a backyard to play in while waiting for 17 adults to get ready for the day. Street care is a very short walk away and the restaurants are so close! Rebecca completely helps you in every way possible, she even put the boxes of my wedding decor that arrived on the porch in the house for us while we were sightseeing and had snacks and champagne waiting upon our arrival. Plenty of parking and we had 3 mini vans to park daily. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend this property and Rebecca if you are looking for a beautiful place to stay. The pictures do not show the complete beauty of the home....IMPRESSIVE! Thank you Rebecca!
