Great location and Rebecca was very responsive on email and phone.
House is best for large groups. We enjoyed walking to dinner from the house. The Bearcat Cafe
for breakfast and Pascal’s for dinner were hits.
We would have liked more cable channels as we couldn’t watch our regular news and shows and the expanded WiFi did not allow for streaming movies or tv shows. Lots of hot water and everything you need in the kitchen. Loved the welcome basket and wine. Thank you!
Amazing House for Bachelorette Weekend
We had 11 peolle staying in the house Friday through Monday. Rebecca was very accommodating with our schedules, that were altered due to flight changes and delays. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. I also walked every morning to local coffee shop about 2 blocks away - French truck Coffee. We used uber and local cabs for transportation. I had a yoga instructor come and teach a class in the back yard which was perfect [NOLA Tribe Yoga]. We had alcohol delivered by Drizly. There was more enough space, bathrooms and beds for everyone. Thanks again!
Great location, beautiful spacious house
My company rented this property plus another nearby vacation home to house our staff while working a conference at Tulane. The house was beautiful and we would definitely stay there again. In fact, our CEO asked for the listing to look into staying there again in the fall. It was very easy to find street parking for our rental vehicles, and the location was walkable enough for food -- it was a super close walk to French Truck Coffee, Wayfare, and Dat Dog, which folks enjoyed. The dish and clothes washing supplies that the owner provided was awesome; can't be more grateful for the coffee they left behind too. Rebecca had treats waiting for everyone in the kitchen when we arrived. One of our staff (who stayed across the street) says he wishes he had stayed at "the big house"!
Since we all stayed in different locations in NOLA, we collected feedback afterward -- here are some minor issues that staff reported after our stay:
- would have been nice if the house came stocked with a few 13 gallon trash bags
- we were elsewhere in the daytime during most of our stay, but in terms of getting work done at the house, unfortunately the wifi was very slow and it was faster to use mobile data
- there was difficulty with some of the entryways - the doorknob to the back room kept falling off from day 1
Again, minor issues, but since they were brought up I might as well pass them on. We would definitely come back -- thank you!
Beautiful, spacious house in a great NOLA location
Our extended family of 10 was very comfortable in this beautiful home. The location was great - quiet residential neighborhood but not far from the French Quarter, Garden District, and Audubon Park. Excellent restaurants and cafes close by and just four blocks from the tram line.
This house is fantastic and the location is ideal.
We loved the house - real New Orleans - and everything was perfect. The location is great. Nice street with plenty on street parking; we didn't need to use the car since the streetcar was a few blocks away and takes you to the French Quarter, the WW ll museum or Uptown. Rebecca was terrific. We would definitely book again next time in town with family and friends.
Rebecca is amazing. This is a wonderful home. Highly recommend this to anyone.
New Orleans has many attractions for all French Quarter Voodoo Fest, Garden District tours, Hop on Hop off tours, Cemetery History tours, French Quarter Fest, Booze French Quarter tours, Beer garden tours, horse riding in Audubon park, Bike rentals (BLUE BIKE), Cocktail walking tours, Super City Tour, Audubon Zoo and Nature institute, Audubon park, Ogden, WW11, Art and glass Museums , world famous restaurants and much more to offer.
