About the property

Paradise For Families + Children In Lovely Spacious, Private Detached House

This simple, beautiful and spacious 3-bedroom (all en-suite) detached family home is located in the countryside of Oakley Green, Windsor, Berkshire.

Willow Court is an absolutely perfect base for a family with children or a group of friends with children to come and stay while they explore Windsor, Legoland and all the local and further afield attractions.

The home has 3 large double bedrooms - all with en-suite bathrooms. In the master bedroom, there is a king size French bed, large chest of drawers and double wardrobe so plenty of storage, full length mirror and also a brand new en-suite with shower/bath and loo.. The master bedroom is at the front of the house overlooking the drive and the large lawned 'Willow Garden' to the front of the house. The master bedroom is a large, beautiful and sunny/light room.

The second bedroom has both a king size bed and also a small bed suitable for a young child, double wardrobe, and again an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and loo. This bedroom is also at the front of the house.

The third bedroom has 2 full size single beds (one has wooden side rails), double wardrobe, large chest of drawers and again is en-suite. This bedroom is on the courtyard garden side of the house and overlooks the courtyard.

All 3 bedrooms are large by English standards and bedrooms 2 and 3 have brand new carpet (the rest of the house has wooden floors).

There is a total of 3 en-suite bathrooms and a separate cloakroom with an additional (4th) loo!

The kitchen is a good size, not snazzy but extremely functional for families. It includes dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine (please note there isn't a tumble dryer) and fully kitted out with cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and everything needed. There is also a breakfast eating area seating six. There are double patio doors that lead from the breakfast dining end of the kitchen into the private courtyard garden. The kitchen also has a gas hob, oven and a microwave oven.

The living/dining room is very large and beautifully light with large windows on 3 sides. There are again double patio doors leading into the lovely spacious walled courtyard garden. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room (this is the only TV!). The house has Wi-Fi and Sky TV. The living room has a dining table that will comfortably seat 8.

The house has wooden floors throughout and brand new carpets in 2 bedrooms.

We do have a garage and additional buildings including a detached annex but they are not included in this rental.

If you are looking for a place where your children can experience the country in a safe, fun, lovely environment then this is the perfect spot.

Willow Court has a large private, walled courtyard garden for your private use. It has rattan garden sofas, chairs and table plus a large outside dining table with chairs and large parasol for when the sun comes out. There is also a BBQ for your use during your stay. The courtyard garden is full of flowering bushes including beautiful wisteria.

If you have a young baby, we can also provide a highchair and travel cot for no additional fee - please just let us know in advance.

Willow Court has ample parking and at night the electric gates are closed (please be aware that the driveway is shared).

There is also both a Tesco and Waitrose supermarket close by (2 mins Tesco and 7 mins Waitrose) by car. There is a lovely gastropub within a 5 minute walk of the house. There is a network of footpaths accessible very close to the house and it is possible to walk dogs off the lead.

Oakley Green is a beautiful area located about 5 mins drive from Windsor Town Centre. The area includes the Windsor Racecourse, LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle, Windsor Great Park, Guard's polo club, many traditional pubs and restaurants and is surrounded by countryside.

This accommodation will suit any guests looking to find a beautiful, simple and reasonably-priced private property to be based in while they explore the local area, Windsor, London and beyond.

You will be met on arrival by either me or a member of my family and I will take you through the check-in process.

This will include welcoming you to Willow Court, showing you around, giving you the keys, finalising payment for your stay and also answering any questions you might have.

If you would like to book Willow Court, please email me ASAP and I can provide pricing and confirm availability.

Thanks very much.

About Justina Leigh-Davies

My name is Justina Leigh-Davies and I am married to Stuart and have 3 young children (Byron - 12, Ava - 10 and Raphaelle 4). As we have moved property, we have decided to share our family home with other families who want to experience a 'home from home' while visiting Windsor - perhaps for a trip to Legoland or any of the other local attractions.

Justina Leigh-Davies purchased this house in 2002

What makes this house unique

We have a good sized 3 bedroomed home to offer, including ample free parking, in a safe, fun semi-rural setting. We are open to pets so long as they are well behaved, quiet and stay off all beds and furniture.

We could not fault Willow Lodge. Three perfect sized bedrooms, all ensuite, with every combination of family catered for. So much space everywhere - lounge diner and kitchen diner. Lovely gardens and two terrace areas. Plenty of parking. Absolutely every detail thought of and provided. Quick car ride from LEGOLAND and easy parking in Windsor for day trips by train to London - just a 56 minute journey to Waterloo.

We would love to stay again with you, perhaps just to rest next time!

Thank you, so much, Justina.

Owner's Response: Hi Dianne, I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay here at Willow Court and I'm not surprised you need to come back for a rest after your busy visit to Windsor and London! Very welcome any time. Also for the future it's possible to get to London Paddington from Maidenhead in 25 minutes, so even easier to get into London to see the sights. It was a pleasure to meet you all. Thank you for choosing to stay at Willow Court. Very best wishes, Justina

Better than any hotel...

  • 5 of 5

If you think the pictures are amazing just wait until you get there! The cottage is beautiful, wonderful surroundings and close to Legoland, London and surrounding areas! Traveling with young kids including a baby is hard work but all that worry is gone when you stay at Willow Court! The communication with Justina was top class, and everything on the website about the cottage is 100% accurate. Thank you Justina for making our family holiday one that we will cherish and remember for ever! You have a beautiful cottage and gardens. I would definately recommend booking Willow Court to anyone who wants ease for booking, great communication with the owner and a wonderful, clean, perfect cottage! Honestly, it was cleaner than some hotels I have stayed in! Well Done!!! 👍🏻

We have just arrived home to Ireland after a charming 5 night stay at Willow Court. After two busy days and nights at the Legoland Resort, it was a welcome relief to spend the rest of our holiday at Willow Court and to enjoy the space and comfort this home offers.

Our children (10, 6 & 4) loved the garden with its large trampoline, swing ball set and tyre swing. The boys particularly enjoyed playing 'pirates' by swinging from the ropes that were hanging down from the very large Willow Tree.

We had considered staying in a smaller apartment type accommodation but knowing we were going to be sight seeing in London and Windsor, it was important for the kids to have a rural setting to come home to at the end of each day. They absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave.

I would definitely recommend this house to any family that was thinking of travelling to Legoland or Windsor.

Willow Court is a lovely spacious and clean property

  • 5 of 5

The house is situated in a private courtyard with secure gates on entry. It was ideal for our two young children to play out and enjoy the beautiful garden at the front of the house. There is also a private walled courtyard at the rear of the house.

The house accommodated 6 of us comfortably and there was plenty of space. It was also very clean and well looked after. The kitchen contained everything we needed including a bottle of wine in the fridge, thank you Justina! It was much appreciated. Justina was extremely helpful and her communication with me regarding the initial booking along with my pre and post arrival questions was excellent.

We had a lovely week in Willow Court. The location was fantastic for us and we would definitely stay there again if we were to return to Windsor.

Thanks again Justina.

Happy holidays in Windsor

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely holiday with my family last week in Willow Court Windsor. The house was beautiful in a lovely area and the sun managed to shine for us to. Justina was very welcoming and had everything organized for our arrival. The house is very spacious with plenty outside space which was very secluded and safe for my 4 year old grandson to have lots of fun in. He called it his "holiday cottage" and he didn't want to go home. Had a fabulous time at Legoland and Windsor. I would highly recommend a visit and would gladly go back. Thanks for everything Justina really appreciated you letting us leave our car there while we went to London. Kind regards Ann

Oakley Green is a beautiful area located about 5 mins drive from Windsor Town Center. The area includes the Windsor Racecourse, LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle, Windsor Great Park, many traditional pubs and restaurants and is surrounded by English countryside. It is in the heart of the English polo area with Guard's Polo Club nearby.

If you are coming to Windsor for LEGOLAND - then Willow Court is an absolutely perfect location for you as LEGOLAND is just 3 miles drive away. If you are a group of friends coming to enjoy a relaxing break - then Willow Court is also a perfect choice and wonderful base for you - whilst also providing very quick access to all the restaurants, cafes, racing and events in Windsor.

Also very close by is Windsor Castle, Windsor Race Course, Ascot Race Course, extremely easy access to the M4 and just 3 miles away from the Windsor and Eton train station which trains to London Paddington taking just 35 mins.

Willow Court is a family home that is the perfect setting for families wanting a 'lived in' home to settle in while they explore Windsor, Legoland and all the other many local and further afield attractions. It is a much loved home that we have owned for over 12 years. We still live locally and will be on hand for any questions you may have during your stay.

Further down the lane from Willow Court is Willow Court Farm which is a small family-run farm shop owned by my brother Shaun and his wife Angelica. Here in their little shop, you can buy your fresh eggs each morning for breakfast and also a range of jams, biscuits, sauces and even honey from their own bees. They also sell chickens, ducks, geese and regularly have chicks and ducklings for younger children to see up close. Plus there are a variety of farm animals to see and say hello too including 2 pygmy goats Nuzzle and Scratch, 2 micro pigs Cooper and Coen, 3 peacocks, turkeys and more!!

Willow Court is a fun, safe, happy and relaxed environment to be in and around. We have a totally Non Smoking policy inside the property (smoking in the courtyard garden is allowed).

We are open to well behaved and quiet pets so please ask us for details. If accepted, all dogs need to be on leads at all times when outside of the private courtyard garden and dogs are not allowed on any beds or furniture.

We also have our cat Mimi who may call in and say hello during your stay. She is very independent and also quite aloof but if you do happen to see her - she loves to be gently stroked and cuddled and is quite used to young children also saying hello.

This lovely happy home will ideally suit families with children and/or groups of friends looking to find a family home that is beautiful but also 'lived in' so that you can relax, respect and enjoy the place and surroundings and have a great vacation.

This home nor its venue is suited to loud, middle of the night partying - it's ideally suited for families with children who want a lovely home to make their own while they explore the area.
