This incredibly clear, pristine lake is Moose Lake. Its deepest level is 62' and is known for its world class Muskie, Northern Pike, and Walleye . A public landing is on lake also.
This 2-story lake home, with a gradual incline to the lake, offers magnificent views of the lake from the upper level deck. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms(Master-king, Bedrooms 2&3-queens), 2 bathrooms(1 shower, 1 tub/shower), with a gas fireplace and knotty pine interior throughout the upstairs and downstairs. Each bedroom has large closets. The walkout basement includes 2 huge bedrooms (queen bed), 1 queen size hide a bed and a game room with a full size pool table, and 1 bathroom/w shower.. The whole house is completely furnished: 2 rockers, 5 reclined seats(1 recliner, 1 love seat, 1 couch).
The upstairs has a TV and DVD player and downstairs has a TV. Cable is provided. The house has 1300' on each floor. Steps lead to a private scenic viewing area by the water which allows for quiet times to enjoy nature, loons, ducks, birds and for reading.
Moose Lake is located 19 miles NW of Grand Rapids and 9 miles NE of Deer River. Within 30 minutes to 4 golf courses, Mesabi Trails(hiking/biking), Suomi Hills, known
for cross country skiing/hiking. Great snowmobiling, fishing, hunting(pheasant, grouse), and white tail deer. This 160'+ natural shoreline lake home is a perfect place to have your own private retreat. We can accommodate up to 12 people. An upright sitting paddle boat is available for use and a gas grill.
We(Steve and Ann), live in Arizona by our two adult daughters. We grew up in Mn and wanted a place of our own back home on a lake and close to relatives. Steve is a retired school counselor and Ann is a retired nurse.
