In elite Robinson Springs, a wonderfully comfortable family home can sleep up to 14, with a full bunk room and loft. 7 minutes from Mount Mansfield and minutes from Stowe Village, the wrap around deck provides stunning mountain views. Tennis courts and community pond make it a great spot year round.
There are two extra studies that allow for either a double futon with full bath or fold out sofa with full bath right on the ground floor.
Great for a family reunion!! Kitchen newly renovated and brand new master bath make for a real luxury experience. Mid way between mountain and village we are just off Edson Hill Road surrounded by horse farms not far from the Stowehof and up the hill from Gracie's.
Stunning sunrises and sunsets over Mt. Mansfield. The deck and surrounding hiking trails around Robinson Springs makes for a perfect summer family spot. Right by state forest land, our property borders on the beautiful Waterfall Trail. Rent bikes and ride on the Recreation Path in the valley, or play golf at nearby Stowe Country Club.
A caretaker apartment over the garage sleeps up to 4 and is rented separately.
New 57 inch HD TV with full satellite, Netflix, XBOX hook up.
A perfect Vermont getaway surrounded by 7 acres of verdant forest, wildlife and birds.
A special gem mid way between the mountain and the village. Lots of privacy and beautiful mountain views. Hot tub.
We were able to rent AltaVista last minute during spring break-- what a treat.
View of the ski slopes and the wonderful hot tub made it a great family
hideaway. Close to Stowehof for fondue and 7 acres for X-C skiing and snow
shoeing so even non-skiers had fun.
We had five families gather for a big ski birthday party! The mud room accommodated ski boots, helmets gloves and kit for 14 people. The radiant floors were ideal for wet clothes after playing in the snow. The kids made snow caves and then ran in to the hot tub.
We had a big blazing fire in the fireplace every night after skiing and enjoyed dinners at the big dining table!
We saw a live porcupine and beautiful birds.
Only 10 mins from the mountain, with spectacular views of both Mansfield and Spruce. We lucked out with 20 inches of fresh snow this week-- and sunshine.
Could not have been a better vacation spot. Highly recommend and will come back next year!
The house was in great location whether you were a skier, or if you wanted to shop downtown. The property was beautiful and spacious. The house fit 20 comfortably, the mud room was fantastic for the kids to dress and undress, the firewood closet was exceptional, fireplace and wood stove gave the house the ultimate mountain feel, view of stow mountain ski resort was great, driveway was kept plowed, etc….. If we were going to do that trip annually, we would not hesitate to rent that house again.
Counterintuitive, but true. This is a magnificent, five-bedroom property that is elegantly furnished and yet retains a cozy charm. Situated on a high bluff overlooking the Stowe Resort, one can sit back and enjoy this sweeping view from many vantage points. This lovely home easily accommodated our three-generation skiing family and our friends' family of four. Speaking of skiing, let's begin with the large mud room which easily handles the comings and goings of a sizeable skiing entourage - large, open equipment closets and plenty of room to boot up and get ready for the slopes. The kitchen is sized and equipped for full-scale entertaining - modern appliances (including deep-fryer); ample cookware, glassware and place settings and its own sound system. There is an eight-person breakfast nook that overlooks that special view, as well as a huge, formal dining room. For kids, this is a special place. It features a large recreation room with ping pong table and an adjoining theater room with a top of the line viewing and sound system. In addition, there is an upper level kids/family room that can serve as a separation area for kids in different age groups. No ski vacation would be complete without a party - après or otherwise. This house is built for entertaining. There is a flow that works beautifully from the kitchen, dining room, foyer and into a very spacious living room that features a large cheery fireplace that crackled and warmed us throughout the evening. What more is there to say? This is a well-built, resort-sized home that will easily serve as a great base of operations for a mountain vacation anytime of year. Indeed, elegant, but cozy!
We came to this house for a Thanksgiving getaway with our huge family. The house is cozy and has lots to offer. Minutes from Stowe and Smugglers Notch ski areas and a huge mudroom to accommodate all of our ski stuff - it fit us perfectly. Basement has a nice play area and upstairs living space for all. It is close enough to town that errands are easy, but you feel far away from hubbub and looking out the windows there are gorgeous views of ski area. We would've given it 5 stars, but none of the fireplaces worked, but such a small problem we enjoyed ourselves greatly - highly recommend.
This house does not disappoint! It was more than we imagined. Tastefully furnished, tons of amenities and drop dead gorgeous views. The owners couldn't be nicer to deal with. WE had such a good time -can't wait to return.
Just seven minutes by car from Mount Mansfield Stowe ski resort, neighborhood full of hiking trails and streams, swim pond and tennis courts. Beautiful mountain views and wonderful fresh air.
