I love to travel and so it works well to host guests while I am away.
Molly purchased this Bungalow in 2010
Why Molly chose Ithaca
This is not a sterile, impersonal "hotel like" property. It is a craftsmen with many cool features.

Cute, comfortable house!
My residentmate and I stayed at Molly’s house while in town for a continuing education event at Cornell. The house was a 12 minute drive to campus and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the grocery store. The house was very homey and we were both very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!
Good house for our needs
As the owner says, the property isn't perfect. However, the imperfections weren't a big deal, and the location is fantastic. It is within walking distance to several stores and is in a nice quiet neighborhood.
My wife and I both stated that we would gladly stay there again.
Lovely old home with garden, spring flowers, wood burning stove...
Great for sleeping and as a gathering place for the family at a college graduation.
Cozy and comfortable
Molly's place was a cozy spot that met our needs really well during our stay in Ithaca. The house is well-equipped with creature comforts like a complete kitchen, netflix, and cozy linens. Molly was also very responsive when we had any questions during our stay.
Since we went with two young children--3 & 5--I would point out that there are a lot of small items throughout the house that we had to caution the kids to stay hands-off with. Additionally, I would have liked to have had better use of the backyard, as the pictures of it were part of the appeal of the house. It didn't turn out to be as kid-friendly back there as I would have liked, mostly due to the small pond. That said, there were many places within walking distance for us to get to, so we were fully able to enjoy the outdoor spaces nearby, leaving the backyard only a wished-for plus, rather than a necessity!
On the whole, this is a cozy, happy place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a spot in Ithaca.
Great location, great communication
This was a great home base for our long weekend in Ithaca - no more than a 10-minute drive to Buttermilk Falls, the CU campus, the farmers market, the lab of ornithology...and about a 3-minute drive to Wegmans.
Molly was responsive and helpful, and was very accommodating about our bringing along our toddler. Thanks for a lovely VRBO!
Cozy cottage, close to all.
We stayed at Molly's cottage for five days when we brought our daughter back to Ithaca for school. We met her the day we left and she is a lovely person.
The house is very charming and was a perfect place for us to stay. You can walk to shopping and restaurants on the main road, a block or two away. Cornell, Ithaca college and the Commons are also a short drive away.
We would definitely stay there again.
Minutes from Ithaca College and Cornell University. Waterfalls and Gorges are nearby. Very close to vineyards and wineries.
