I live in North Canton, Ohio with my husband Randy. We have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I went to Kent State for a degree in Interior Design and my husband, Randy is a Financial Planner. We have owned rental houses in the past, but this is the first vacation rental we have owned. We enjoy visiting the condo 3 to 4 times a year to make upgrades and try to get a minute or two to touch our toes on the beach if possible. When we came to look at buying the condo we were unsure at first since we never vacationed before in North Myrtle, but it only took one night in the master bedroom with the sound of the sea to know we had to own it. The views of the ocean and the inlet are beautiful! We love this condo and the Cherry Grove area and hope you will too!

Very nice spacious condo and owner great to work with

Great condo, owner is really quick to answer any questions. I would definitely rent again. The only complaint I have is the linen service. The owner gave us her discount which I am grateful for because we only got 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person. I didn't want to do laundry all the time so I went to Walmart and bought another towel for everyone (we had 6 people). I would take your own linens or take additional towels. They don't supply hand towels or dishcloths in the kitchen either. I'd save your money and take your own or save your go to Walmart and buy your own.

Beautiful condo. Awful construction upstairs.

The condo and location are perfection. A short walk to the tip of the inlet makes for beautiful family photos at low tide and a private feel with no crowds for day time beach fun with the kids.

Just about everything you need is provided. calphalon cookware, blender, toaster, steamer pot, pitchers. Really, these owners thought of everything! It truly feels like a luxury condo. The only thing I could possibly think of would be a coffee pot upgrade but even still, no complaints here.

Other than the owners upstairs.

Unfortunately, they decided to replace their flooring and shower during our stay and refused to start any later than 8 am even after we requested a 9am start.

When you have a 9 month old and a toddler who can't sleep or nap due to loud hammering, drilling and sawing, it makes for a very frustrating beach experience for what was supposed to be our time to heal from the death of my husbands Mother and ready him to start grad school and myself to begin nursing school.

Elliott Realty was very rude until I filed with the BBB and then they told us they would mail us a check for $50 a day for every day they had construction upstairs as compensation. At first they told us there was nothing they could do and offered no help or peace of mind, nor the simple reassurance we mattered at all.

$50 was such a low blow after everything we dealt with and how rude the woman at the front desk was when she began speaking very loudly to me saying there was nothing they could do. We were stonewalled into feeling like we should just get over it. Almost like we were the problem. They front desk also told me the drilling we heard from 9pm-11 pm on Tuesday (the day construction began and ran until Sat when we left) was just vacuuming. My husband and I recorded it on my phone and it is clearly drilling with a hand drill.

I began posting on their Facebook page and contacted the BBB after calling 3 times and then being treated badly at the front desk.

We soon got a call back after the Facebook posts (within an hour). Again leaving us feeling frustrated. We were then lied to and told the construction was over and there would be no more noise. We woke up the next morning at 8am to loud hammering and it lasted 2 more days (until the day we left for a total of 5 days).

Love the condo. Leaving today for an 8 hour drive no less tense than we were when we left home last Sat.

Owner's Response: We feel awful for your family. It was bad enough about the construction, but especially the poor treatment you received and how your feelings were ignored. We will be looking into the rules about construction times in the building and how they are enforced. We are very sorry that what should have been a restful vacation for you turned out to be stressful. Manager's note: As of June 6, 2017 we have contacted the unit's property management company and were told that all construction has been completed in that unit.

We would gladly stay again and hope to. This place has all the Comforts of home.

Let me say the only beef we had was with the front door lock. It was a combination lock and was a little difficult in the beginning to get used to. Now let me list all the things we like about this condo.

1. Beautiful ocean view from the living room and the master bedroom. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

2. Very well equipped with normal stuff you need for everyday life.

3. Beautifully decorated and well maintained.

4. Very easy check-in and check-out process.

5. The pool was a little bit on the small side but good enough for three grandkids and a great time. Very clean water and surroundings.

6. The beautiful ocean was only a stone's throw of a walk, and many nearby restaurants and grocery stores.

7. Beautiful balcony with plenty of chairs and tables.

8. The owners were very responsive to emails and very willing to answer any questions.

9. Some of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in on a rental condo.

10. Great Beach for riding bikes and Shelling. I found my first shark's tooth on this beach.

11. This is a great place for making some family memories and I can't wait to come back again.

This condo was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this unit to any family looking for a peaceful stay out of the tourist trap areas (but close enough to drive to if that is what you are looking for).

The property was clean, organized, and had everything we needed for our stay!

The property was exactly like the description and better! Kitchen had everything we needed and more! The beds were comfortable and all in all wonderful condo. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is we had a problem with an older gentleman "condo commando" that felt the need to monitor everyone and everything that was going on at condo. At one point, he actually blocked the door into the indoor pool and demanded that I tell him our condo number where we were staying in the building all while as I was trying to enter the code in door that was given to me by Elliott Realty. I am a 40 year old women that had her 6 year old son and 70 year MIL in tow trying to go for a swim. Really unacceptable considering we paid for use of not just the condo but the amenities. I understand that he is an owner and probably has had problems in the past with others that aren't staying there but definitely not the best way to handle himself and definitely a deterrent from us wanting to stay there again for future rentals. We were not the only family that this happened too.

Owner's Response: So sorry to hear the experience you had with that individual. I am not sure who that was but I will forward your concerns to the homeowner association president. That was definitely not appropriate and I have not heard of this happening in the past. Thank you for making us aware of this and we will get this resolved.

****There is a nonrefundable processing fee for the reservation based on the weekly rental rates as follows:
$1 - $400 - $32 + $3 per night
$401 - $900 - $52 + $3 per night
$901 - up - 7% of rental amount + $3 per night with a maximum fee of $350.00 + $3 per night
Linens, towels, and exit cleaning available for an additional fee and can be added at booking. If you prefer not to clean the unit yourself, you may order exit cleaning for $125 plus tax and the departure inspection fee of $30 will be waived. If you will not be bringing your own linens and towels, they may be ordered as well for a fee of $15 plus tax per bed. Please specify how many beds you will be using, there is a king, a queen, 2 twins, and a sleeper sofa when ordering linen and towel service.

Monthly rentals available from December 1st until February 28th only. Monthly base rental price is $1295.00 per month plus fees and taxes.

A prepayment of one half of the rental rate is required to confirm a reservation. Prepayment MUST be received within five (5) business days after making reservation. $15 credit card fee on amounts over $250.


CANCELLATION: From the date of booking your reservation, you have 5 business days to cancel/change your reservation. Confirmed reservations may be cancelled with $100.00 cancellation fee.
