Good space in a good location

This home worked well for three adults. It's easy walking distance to some really good restaurants, but not really to the central business/touristy area of downtown. It is the downstairs half of a home. Noise wasn't a problem, except on New Year's Eve (not surprising). Toilet got stopped up and I ended up getting a decent plunger from a hardware store myself to fix it.

I loved the feeling of home this property gives. Nice furniture, great centralized downtown location indeed. Good parking with surveillance. Not far from islands and beaches. Awesome cooking supplies. I would recommend this property before most extended stay hotels.

Gorgeous home, perfect location. Only 2 minor complaints

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Charleston and had a wonderful vacation. Below I've made a few notes on what I liked and didn't like that I think would be useful to know for anyone else. I'd visit Charleston again sometime in the future. It was a cool city with a lot of great places to eat and a few fun things to do that I can't find back home. The historical sites are also 1 of a kind and the feel of the city itself is very different than what I'm accustomed to (in a good way).

The Good:

- Private parking lot, didn't have to street park

- Interior was well decorated and the AC worked amazingly well for how hot/humid it was outside

- Everything in the kitchen you would need to cook full meals

- Far enough outside of heart of downtown to not be swamped by people/cars, but close enough to drive 5mins to anywhere worth going.

- Enough room that 4 people didn't feel cramped

- Comfortable furniture for sitting in the living room and enjoying a night hanging out

The Not so Good:

- The mattresses on the beds were so firm that they may as well have been solid pieces of furniture. My girlfriend who recently had shoulder surgery woke up in pain every morning and my back was sore from my body not being able to sink into the mattress enough to contour my spine well.

- The walls are paper thin. Even with the AC running for white-noise, if the neighbors on the porch next door were outside, I could hear their entire conversation as if they were in the room with me. They were having a party (6-8 people) well past 3am one night and because I could hear them perfectly, I was able to figure out names based on voice, and their topics of conversation verbatim. I had to walk out there on 2 separate nights (where they were out drinking as a group and talking past 2am) to ask them to keep it down so I could sleep. They cooperated each time without incident. I also notified Josephine of this happening and she was very helpful in finding a remedy.

Perfect for our trip!

We were looking for a 2 bedroom close to King Street and the Charleston Riverdogs baseball stadium. This was perfect! Everything was just like we saw online. It was close enough to walk to Hominy Grill and there were other restaurants in walking distance too. There is even a coffee shop and grocery store just a block or so away! I would stay there again! It would be a long walk to King Street, so I would recommend driving there. We had 2 vehicles and parking was available for both.

Quaint 2 bedroom in wonderful location

Having a place to park was amazing! The house is very easy to find and in the perfect location in downtown Charleston. The house has everything that you would need (minus the paper items that you are asked to bring), however, there is limit on pots and pans. There are plenty of towels. There are no blankets in the house so my group was cold in the living space. The house is in close quarters with a few other homes so you can hear guests from the other homes as they walk to and from their respective rentals, but this didn't bother my group at all. Overall the home is a little outdated with handles missing on some closet doors and small things like this, but the home has everything you would need and the owners are very quick to reply if you need anything. I would recommend to another group!
