2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Real Sonoma Farm Home
About Janice King
My husband Tim and I have been long time residents of Sonoma. Together we shared a special dream of owning some land with space to have special events in Sonoma Valley for years. When we found Many Moons Ranch we knew it was the right spot for us and our family. The Event Barn has hosted several jazz concerts and other special occasions which is one of our passions, creating and sharing wonderful experiences with others. We have always loved Sonoma and we invite you to share the Sonoma Valley experience.
Janice King purchased this Farmhouse in 2012
Why Janice King chose Sonoma
This property is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Sonoma Valley. It has a great history of ranching and wine making. This property only had 1 previous owner as it was handed down for generations. We love the history, beauty and location - so close to everything but you feel far away!

It's also the closest wine region to San Francisco, just 45 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. In the center of town, the eight-acre Sonoma Plaza is a National Historic Landmark, strewn with sprawling shade trees and bordered by carefully preserved adobe buildings.

We really enjoyed our stay. House was perfect base. Close to all the wineries and downtown Sonoma. Look forward to returning.
Great Guest would love to have him back.
Perfect place for our mini-vacay
We had such a great time staying here. It had all the amenities of home. The only objections we could find was the knob on the oven was worn and it was hard for us to know what temperature the oven was. Just a small thing (and we were careful not to burn our pizza :-D ). Thank you again for the great hospitality!
Thank for the great review and I have a new stove on the way! Would love to host you again in the future.
Charming and comfy!
The place was well kept and lovely perfect for us!!!
Cozy Farmhouse Retreat
There is no better place to experience springtime in Sonoma than on Many Moons Ranch. The location is ideal not only for quick trips into Sonoma Square where there are both amazing restaurants and shops, but also the location makes it very convenient to visit nearby towns and lots of wineries. Janice and Tim are very personable hosts, making sure that we have everything we need. Our favorite room is the living room with plenty of light and windows that showcase the spectacular scenery of the ranch. We have spent the month of March for the past 3 years at this property and feel that we have found a real treasure not only with the comfortable farmhouse but with the friendliness of Janice and Tim who treat us like family. We look forward to returning next year-I would highly recommend this Sonoma retreat.
Looking forward to seeing you again next year!
The Many Moons cottage was very nice with all the amenities.
We stayed at the Many Moons Ranch for a week while visiting my niece and vacationing in the area. The location was quiet and peaceful yet close to shops and restaurants in the city of Sonoma. The cottage was spacious with a large kitchen and all of the amenities. Janice left us a very nice welcome gift and was only a phone call away if we needed anything. I would highly recommend the Many Moons Ranch to anyone visiting the area and will stay there again the next time we visit my niece if it is available.
Thank you can't wait to see you again. Janice
Super peaceful lovely westside farmhouse retreat
The cottage was lovely and spacious. It was decorated in very comfortable/comforting furnishings that reminded me of going to grandma's (updated) farmhouse in the country. It is located in the country but literally minutes away from downtown Sonoma and in the other direction, tons of wineries, etc. etc. In the morning I watched Canada geese and also some wild turkeys grazing in the adjoining field, and you can see the vineyard just down the driveway. The hosts were super nice (I had a chat with Janice's husband) and though I didn't need anything I'm certain they would have been happy and quick to answer any questions or address any issues that might arise. I will certainly try to stay here again (as a past 10 year resident of Sonoma I return frequently to visit friends and family) if there is availability. The one caution I have is that the floor in one part of the house is raised several inches from the others, so if you have a wheelchair or similar mobility issues you'll need to be aware of the height transitions. Otherwise I'd say, come, stay, enjoy! I think you'll love it!
Thank you and I hope to see you next year!
