Crescent Moon has a private double decker dock with wet slide and the home offers an open spacious floor plan with three levels, 9 bedrooms, 9 baths and sleeps 28.

The main floor boasts vaulted ceilings with expansive windows for amazing views of the lake and mountains. A huge kitchen with duplicate appliances make cooking for a crowd more manageable. There is plenty of space for everyone to gather and have meals together on the main level as well. Also the main level has a master bedroom with private bath, king bed and lakefront view. The second bedroom with a queen bed is on the main level, as well as a full bath off the living room and a large deck overlooking the lake.

The middle level has a large living room with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms (two w/king beds and one w/queen) have private bathrooms and the fourth (w/queen bed and twin bunks) shares the full bath off the living room.

The Lower level has a large living room, three more bedrooms, and game room with pool table, foosball and air hockey. One bedroom has a king bed and a private bath. Another has a queen and a set of full bunks with a private bath, and the third has a queen bed and shares the full bath off the living room. The hot tub is also on the lower level.

Crescent Moon is owned by three families that live in the Dayton, OH area. Two of the families grew up vacationing on Norris Lake all their lives. This home was built for its investment potential and retirement income. It is being managed by Norris Lake Properties.

We have found over the years that the 9 bedroom homes are in demand because of their ability to provide a functional space for multi-family vacationing or corporate retreats. It is one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine with mountains and clean waters all around. The double decker dock with slide is a fun amenity you will enjoy!

What makes this house unique

Crescent Moon is brand new in 2014 and has 3 levels, 9 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, multiple decks overlooking the lake, hot tub, and private double decker dock with slide. Unbelievable views surround that you can enjoy through the expansive windows on the main level. In addition, it has a huge kitchen with multiple appliances that make cooking for a large group more manageable. The lower level has a great game room with a pool table, foosball, and air hockey. There is plenty of large spaces for the whole group to gather and plenty of individual spaces for privacy as well. The Lakeside Estates boat ramp is an added convenience and the community pool is a nice amenity offering a choice of swimming options.

I had a great time and would recommend this house highly! It is a very scenic location. I was there in the fall and the views from the house were spectacular. The house was well equipped and very clean. The house is decorated very nice and most bedrooms have their own bathrooms.

Lakeside weekend

Beautiful cabin in wooded setting. Luxurious bedding fit for a king and queen, most bedrooms have a beautiful private ensuite. Open concept first floor, large kitchen with all amenities. Large game room with video game hook ups. Mulitiple levels of outdoor seating overlooking Norris Lake. Short walk down to the lake which includes a private dock. Perfect vacation spot for relaxing with family and friends. Just bring your food and beverages of choice for a great vacation.

Fiasco From the Start....Beware

Our extended family arrived to celebrate Thanksgiving 2014 together....the first time in several yrs. My husband and I arrived first and the steep road down to the house was treacherous at best, the code for the lock box did not work, and there is NO cell phone signal at all in this location. We drove back to town to call the coordinator who suggested I then call the owner. The owner requested that we call the coordinator and ask her husband to come with his bulldozer and work on the road so that we could get down to the house. After getting in the house we realize there is NO internet...the week prior it had been torn down but no one bothered to call and inform us prior to our arrival. No cell phone service, no internet service....not acceptable. To get to the overflow parking area is quite a hike up a long hill, and there is not very much parking available in front of the home. We felt that many things had been misrepresented in the photos and conversations with the owner when deciding to rent the home. An email has been sent to the owner on 12/16/2014 to explain our disappointment with this house, but we have never heard anything back. We would not recommend this home.

Owner's Response: We were very sorry for the inconveniences that occurred during the Thanksgiving period with the driveway and internet because of the construction beyond our control at the lot next door. Our guest coordinators did everything they could possibly do to improve the situation. One of the most wonderful aspects of Norris Lake is that it is nestled in the Smokey Mountains. Since our home is on the side of a mountain and built as close to the water as allowed by TVA, the roads and driveway to get there are hilly which is normal for almost everywhere on Norris Lake. Crescent Moon is a new beautifully finished, 9 bedrm, 9 bath home with vaulted ceiling, expansive windows, three living rooms, extra large kitchen and dining area, three decks, hot tub, and a private double decker dock with water slide. This home does have a land line phone with four receivers placed throughout with free long distance. There is more parking in front of this home than many others in the development. We have had eight cars there at one time. Also, our guest coordinators go above and beyond to help quickly resolve any issues that may arise.

Our family stayed at crescent moon over the memorial day holiday, 2014.

It was everything we expected and more!!!

It was very clean and we received total cooperation from all associated with property.

The "jumping bridge" is a must.

Norris Lake

Norris Lake is in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains with over 800 miles of shoreline and many creeks and coves running off the main lake. It is one of the most beautiful, scenic, clean lakes in the country. Norris Lake is perfect for all kinds of fishing, boating and water sports as well as great for swimming. The water is calm since it is surrounded by mountains and very clean because of the mountain springs feeding into the lake. You will most certainly enjoy a morning run on the glassy waters if you are an avid skier.

Lakeside Estates is a gated community with a private boat launch ramp, pool and walking trails. It is only about 15 minutes to Lafollette TN where you can stock up on supplies for your vacation or pick up anything needed at the last minute.

Great shopping in Pigeon Forge is only about 1 1/2 hours away which makes an easy day trip. You can also enjoy many activities, shows and attractions in that area.

Several golf courses in the area provide opportunities for a great golfing weekend trip in the fall or early spring when the weather is cooler and the area is gorgeous.

Lakeside Estates is convenient to many nearby marinas that offer a variety of amenities and restaurant facilities on the lake.
