4 Bedroom + Bunk Room Log Cabin Style Home, Sleeps 12 adults

This exquisite mountain log home has breathtaking views of the Breckenridge Blue River Valley, local golf course and the Ten Mile Mountain range.

Conveniently located within an eight minute drive into downtown Breckenridge, the house is located on a mountainside forested site which overlooks the scenic seventh hole on the Elk Golf Course of the Breckenridge Public golf center. It is a three minute drive to the golf course club and a seven minute drive to the down-hill ski gondola parking lot. Biking, walking trails & Nordic cross country skiing are accessible from the house.

The home is located in The Highlands, a part of Highland Park which is an exclusive enclave of distinctive mountain homes. It has direct access to a mountain biking/walking trail that traverses the property and is within convenient walking distance to the Gold Run hiking trail system. The historic Jenny Mill gold mine and Peabody Placer gold mining ghost town are within easy hiking distance on well marked trails. The Gold Run Nordic center ski trail runs adjacent to the property.

The home is a classic mountain log home with enormous exposed post and beam log construction. A major tree trunk extends from the lower bedroom level through the main floor to the ceiling ridge beam setting the mountain log tone of the house. A large stone fireplace accents the living room next to cathedral windows through which Buffalo Mountain is viewed.

Upon entering, you will be welcomed by eight foot windows with incredible views and twenty four foot high beamed ceilings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Sub Zero refrigerator, Wolf gas stove, copper farmhouse sink, wine cooler and a large gas BBQ outside for grilling. A ten foot mahogany wood dining room table seats 10, with room for 2 more seats at the adjacent granite kitchen island.

A west facing deck with an exterior fireplace provides a lovely spot to enjoy the impressive mountain views and take in the sunshine. A Jacuzzi hot tub on the first floor patio provides excellent views of the mountains and good star watching at night. To ensure complete relaxation, the house also has a steam room on the lower level.

The main living level features an open floor plan incorporating the foyer, dining room, kitchen with a large central entertainment granite island, the great room with a large stone fireplace, a powder room and a mud room/laundry with ski cubicles. Elk antler chandeliers accent the foyer and dining room. The living room continues the open plan with an attached entertainment deck with views of the Ten Mile mountain range, an outdoor BBQ grill and an outdoor stone fireplace.

The living room features a large screen television above the fireplace with Cable TV, Netflix and Pandora Radio. The whole house has wireless internet WIFI.

The master bedroom is located on the main floor. It features wood beamed ceilings and a fireplace seen from both the master bedroom and master bath. The master bath has his and hers vanities, a large marble shower, private toilet room and large dressing closet.

A beautiful natural log railing staircase leads to the lower guest bedroom level from the foyer. Three bedrooms, a bunk room with four log beds and three baths each with different mountain themes are located on this second level. A family room with views of the valley and large screen TV is located on the west side of the house. Off the family room is an outdoor patio with a five person hot tub with views of the mountain.

The four bed bunk room is located off the family room with log style bunk beds and a log ladder. A spa bath is located next to the bunk room with a large steam room with shower and private toilet room.

Truly unique is the Man Cave,located above the garage with a pull out couch for extra guest sleeping, exercise equipment and free weights and a desk for study. This is a great place to escape to.

The house sleeps twelve in queen and king size beds in the four bedrooms and bunk room.

Craig and Lisa Robelen are custom home builders who built this home for their personal use and spared no expense in detailing the home. Many of the bathrooms are designed using 150 year old antique pots, tree trunks and hand-hewn beams from turn of the century settler Colorado barns. We are sure you will love your stay.

About Craig & Lisa Robelen

Lisa and Craig live in Colorado and Florida. Craig grew up in Ct and Lisa in Fl. We both have Master Degree's & are very sports oriented and active outside. Our Breckenridge home was designed as a very comfortable home that accentuates the out of doors, yet warm and cozy inside. Family is a priority for us, so the lay out of our home flows with open spaces for conversation and interaction, yet privacy when we need it. Our two girls and their husbands live in Lakewood and Colorado Springs, so they visit our home quite often.

Why Craig & Lisa Robelen chose North Breckenridge

We selected this property to build on because of its beautiful views, privacy, proximity to the golf course and Nordic cross country trails and convenience to down town. It really has all the characteristics we love. With Craig being a home builder, he designed the layout and made sure the views from inside of the mountains were emphasized. It is also on a cal-de-sac road, very quite with little traffic.

What makes this house unique

Being close to town yet in a very private location was a terrific find. The hiking and cross country skiing are exceptional. We have taken all of our guests on hikes from the house to the Jessy Mill abandoned gold mine and the Peabody Placer gold mine. Both are walking distance just up the hill from the house.

Skiing is some of the best in the world. The Breckenridge Emerald Chair lift is the highest in North America. The newly opened peak six chair lift tops out at 12,500 feet. From both of these chairs extensive intermediate and expert skiing is accessible and for the truly adventurist, short hikes up to the top of the bowls, where you can find expert skiing in terrific conditions. The elevation insures that the snow quality is generally the best to be found anywhere. Ski schools on the mountain provide lessons for all ages and day care for little-ones. Summer months offer wild flower's everywhere, hikes,golf, shopping. Our home is close to everything you will need.

Beautiful views from every window! This new mountain log-home is located 10 minutes from the base of Breckenridge ski resort, very elegant, but extremely comfortable, no detail left undone. Amazing, Exceeded Expectations!

Christmas 2016 was magical for our family! We spent 5 nights at this exquisite mountain home and it really exceed our expectations. The house was amazing and the location was just perfect! The owners were very helpful when we contacted them with questions prior of our arrival. The house is big and our family of 12 never felt "on the top of each other". We strongly recommend this property, it's was not only beautiful, clean, and big, but also very conveniently located. Amazing views for pictures, just a step out of the property!

Beautiful Home, breathtaking Views

We had a wonderful stay in this truly beautiful home. The house was better than expected, with high-end amentities, stylish and comfortable furnishings, and well appointed bathrooms. It was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The home is located on a golf course, but it's secluded and has amazing views of the mountains. Most evenings, instead of dining out, we cooked, ate out on the deck with the warmth of a fire and watched the sunset over the mountains. The entertainment system was great and we could listen to music throughout the living area. The home is located in the premier Highlands community, but It's a quick trip to Main Street less than 10 minutes. Breckenridge's Main Street is quaint with plenty of shops, boutiques, and restaurants. The house is also accessible to hiking trails that we enjoyed early in the morning or late afternoons. We love Breckenridge in the winter, but Breck's summer beauty is breathtaking and this home did not disappoint. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with.

Alpine Wonderland

My family decided a reunion in the mountains of Colorado was long overdue. Our goal was to enjoy the cool summer during the week of July 4th. Finding available homes that had 5 bedrooms was a challenge. We found this property and locked it up as soon as possible. The pictures don't lie. It is a spectacular home. The owners spared no expense. The attention to detail in the kitchen and bathrooms is especially noticeable. The layout of the home encouraged engagement by our entire family. The deck has a great view of the mountains and the Breckenridge Golf Club. The street that the house is on is sparsely populated and very close to one of the better hiking trails. We had no complaints with the residence and found the owners to be very quick with every response. You will not find a better house in Breckenridge!

Gorgeous Home for a family vacation

The home is just spectacular. The location is fantastic and it is incredible to sit on the deck and enjoy the views all around. You may not want to leave the house during your stay!! Picture Perfect Mountain Home

From hikes out the front door to golf in the evening and a quick 5 minute drive into town, when you think of your vacation in the mountains, this is what you picture. Although, with this gorgeous home, you may not want to leave to go into town. Truly a stunning home with breathtaking views, perfect to sit on the porch in the evening and watch the sunset. The open floor and split bedrooms was perfect for our full family with grandparents all the way to toddlers. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect home for our vacation. Relaxing at its best!

The house is located within a ten minute walk of the Gold Run historic mining area. Several abandoned gold mines are within an easy hike and a full mining ghost town is located up the trail. You can walk to the golf club to play 27 holes of sensational golf or Nordic Cross Country ski in the winter. Opportunities for fly fishing and mountain hiking abound. A child's recreation center is just 9 miles away just before you get to Frisco. There are hot springs within a half-hours drive. Horseback ridging stables are close by as well.
