Great location on the west coast!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great weekend at the beach house! Amazing views, the beach is quite nice, not sandy, but nice and clean, quite large at low tide. Great views from up on the rocks to look at 2 different bays. The yard is awesome for Bocce ball, and it has a great fire pit. The hot tub is quite large and was very clean. The beds were all comfortable we had no complaints. Large kitchen, with pretty much everything you need. Some aluminum foil would have been nice but you could always just bring some with you. The dishwasher worked great and made cleanup easy. There's plenty to do in the area, some great beaches, and decent restaurants. There's parking enough for 4 large vehicles. The owner was great to deal with, and communication was very easy. I think for the price this place would be hard to beat, we would definitely come back again, thanks Danica!

Fabulous family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Totally in love with this place. The property and the location is all you could wish for and more. The property is well stocked for a great family getaway. Beds are comfy, furniture well lived in which is great when you have young children with you. The town of Sooke is five minutes by car and has all that you need although if you are going to do a big shop i recommend that you go into langford which is about 20-30 mins futher back towards Victoria where there are big supermarkets. Local leisure centre has a great swimming pool for rainy days. Our grandsons loved the beach anf we saw many wildlife including seals, otters ,eagles, and a regular visiter swas a humming bird.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the house house. Loved sitting in the hot tub enyoing the ocean view. Kids had room in yard to play. They loved the sidewalk chalk that was at the house. It rained most of when we were they so the wood stove was nice to sit by.
