This modern superbly clean and comfortable 1 bedroom garden level apartment, with a private entrance, has many little touches that will make your stay memorable. The apartment is very quiet and private and includes a queen-sized bed, dining table, an in-suite washer and dryer, a washroom equipped with heated marble flooring, and a flat screen 43' smart TV. Clean linens and towels will be provided. We are ideally situated in the middle of the interesting area of Douglas Park or South Cambie. Great boutique shops, restaurants, bars only four blocks away. Cambie street has great character with lots of unique shops & restaurants. Loads of good coffee places & snack bars. There are lots of ethnic restaurants in the area & we can provide our recommendations.The apartment is 3 minutes walk from the Canada Line subway which takes you to downtown and the airport. Three bus lines run nearby, taking you directly to Downtown, UBC, Queen Elizabeth Park and the Bloedel Conservatory, Olympic Village and Granville Island. If you arrive by car, there is free parking just outside the door.

The apartment is close to BC's major health centers: Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer Agency, BC Women and Children's Hospital and GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre are all less than a 15 minute walk away.

The apartment is also one and a half blocks from Douglas Park which has a fitness center and 1 Km running track. The Hillcrest Olympic Recreation Center is also close by, with a large pool (indoor and outdoor), skating rink, library and more. Local shopping and restaurants are only 200m away, in the Cambie Village. Other shopping districts are also within just a few km: Main Street, South Granville, Granville Island, and the large Oakridge Mall.

Wonderful Accommodation!

Being a Vancouver native who knows the city well, I chose this property for its location and proximity to public transportation. Schlomi is an excellent host who goes above and beyond the expected. The suite is like new, clean and spacious with a large bathroom and fantastic shower. The kitchen is well equipped, and Schlomi provided supplies for a wonderful breakfast - much appreciated after our late night arrival! We thoroughly enjoyed the local restaurants and many shops all within short walking distance. I highly recommend this property!!

Great place to stay!

I was in Vancouver to help settle my daughter at UBC and this was a perfect place for us. It was not too far from many of the stores I was trying to get to and close enough to the campus as well. Once she was settled, I was on my own and loved exploring this side of Vancouver. I walked all the way to the Kitsilano beaches, Granville Island, and through the Arbutus ridge area. It was great. The apartment is very functional, very clean and perfect for 2 people. It is also a short cab ride away from the airport. There are also many restaurants in the area. Shlomi was kind enough to leave us some essentials for breakfast which was an added bonus. :-)

Nice and clean unit, easy access

Vancouver is an amazing city! I loved it. The location of this unit is very good, as it is close to a main train and bus stations, as well as a good grocery store in short walking distance. The bed was ok, noise was not too bad. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

Lovely apartment, great host and a great location

My wife and I just spent the month of July in this lovely apartment close to Cambie Village. It was our first time to rent a holiday apartment and it totally lived up to the description on the site. Our host, Shlomi, met us on arrival and gave us a quick run down. He also left some catering essentials - a lovely touch and very much appreciated as we had yet to find our way around the local shops at Cambie Village. Shlomi was on hand all month to make sure our stay was pleasant and that everything in the apartment met with our satisfaction. The apartment is very cleverly laid out, well maintained and tastefully decorated, with washer, dryer and cooking facilities. It also has a seriously big TV and great wifi. It was just perfect for us. Located close to the Canada Line commuter train at King Edward Station (about 2 minutes walk) and to Cambie village, with an array of restaurants, a cinema, shopping etc. and close enough to stroll up to Queen Elizabeth Park, it had everything we needed. And, you could be in downtown Vancouver in about 15 minutes on the train. We've had a great holiday and will be looking to get back to this apartment on our next visit to Vancouver. We would certainly recommend the apartment to family and friends.

Very nice property in a great location

Enjoyed staying in this property very much. It was a ten minute walk to my son's house and only a couple of blocks from the train station. I was able to get downtown in about fifteen minutes. Shlomi was delightful to work with and the house was very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend it to others.
