This is unit Hokulani 142 at Honua Kai. My cancellation policy is incorrectly stated as no refund. Please see my description below for my cancellation refund policy and construction disclaimer.

UPDATE: This unit features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.

ABOUT THIS CONDO: This unit is a 2 bed / 1 bath condo. It is located in Hokulani tower (facing my other units in the Konea tower). Like my others, it is in the heart of Honua Kai Resort on the GROUND floor. This condo includes everything you could possibly want for a time away from home. Smack dab in the middle of Honua Kai, it offers less neighborly foot traffic than inner courtyard units, and has the extra convenience of just walking out of the lanai and being just a quick minute away from the resorts many pools and the amazing Dukes Restaurant. Just outside the room to this condo is the Hokulani fish pond with morning fish feedings and the wonderful Aina Gourmet Market and Cafe.

Our condo, Honua Kai Unit # Hokulani 142 is a brand new super clean, 950 square foot (plus 190 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR hotel condominium. Honua Kai condo's and the resort offers many wonderful modern amenities. And just when you could not ask for more, many extra personal touches from a proud owner are visible in the condo such as iHome alarm clocks, upgraded tv in living, keyed lanai, vitamix blender, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, bathroom dryer rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

The family friendly Ground Floor units include many bonuses not offered on any of the floors above. Extra tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the after market keyed Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to lush lawns & walkways with views of the resort and a peak of the West Maui mountains.

With a king Bed with luxurious linens in the master, and a gigantic Full over Full Bunk Bed in the second bedroom and a Queen sofa sleeper in the living room this condo is a perfectly comfortable fit for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. In addition, the living room features a wall mounted 65" 4k smart TV and a Blu-Ray DVD player. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

TA taxes, cleaning fee, parking are always 100% refundable. 120 days for Christmas / New Years holiday reservations. Full terms in the rental agreement when booking.

Known Construction / Maintenance Disclaimer: Luana Development Parters LP will be building 72 townhouses in the area. The work will be in the empty grass field on the east side of Honua Kai (non-ocean side) beyond the path that circles the bowl between the two towers. These are 2 story homes. A fence will be constructed to limit dust and views of the work. Construction starts on Feb 5, 2018. This unit, Hokulani 142, will be impacted but should be less impacted than the higher up units as its view to the east from both the unit and lanai is partially blocked by garden cover / plantings. Prices reflect discounts for construction.

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

A fabulous condo for all!

This was our family’s first trip to Maui, although we have been to the other islands. This condo was a wonderful place to relax and unwind after exploring all of the wonderful things Maui has to offer. The condo was very clean and well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved being on the ground floor with the lanai that opened onto the lawn. Although the condo is in a large complex, it was incredibly quiet and felt very private. The restaurant in the complex (Dukes) is a great place to eat and a little deli/coffee shop in the complex offers delicious options as well as good lattes. Our two young children were very comfortable and enjoyed the pools immensely. Both Brandon and Monty were very easy to work with and very helpful! The only downside is that we have to leave!

Great resort and unit!

I stayed at Brandon's unit with my 2 yo, husband, and my dad. It was a good size for our family, and very family friendly (has plenty of little kid items there, so it was easy to pack). It was great being on the first floor for my son, yard area was beautiful. The unit is in a great location in the resort, close to everything, but feels quiet and private. It is in great condition, we had no issues at all. The resort has a good place to eat (although may need to make reservations for dinner), and tons of pools to choose from. Beach is not the best on the island, but others are nearby and it's nice to have access so close by regardless. Brandon was also a great host, checking in regularly and providing helpful information. Monty (the on site person) was also very friendly and helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend Honua Kai and Unit 142!

Beautiful 2 Bedroom with a large Lanai

We were very pleased with this unit.It is large,modern,well equipped and clean.Super comfortable beds(including the fold out couch) and good AC.The ground floor lanai is big and on the shady side of the building which I liked.If you have kids,the ground floor is the way to go.There's a huge grassy field right off the deck for them to play on.We were all adults but the ease of ground floor and lanai access is great.There are several nice pools to choose from. Duke's Restaurant is right on the property.When we weren't at Duke's,we used the property BBQ's and ate poolside or in the condo.There is a big grocery store a 5 min walk away too. The owner Brandon and the property manager Monty take their responsibility to the renters seriously. They seemed genuinely interested in how the experience was for us and if they could help in any way. Mahalo

Perfect Family location

We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. This condo and the resort were just perfect for our family vacation!

The condo was stocked with everything we needed and provided us with the right amount of space for our family.

The resort is great! Perfect for families.

We will return and will seek to rent from Brandon again.

Service was excellet from Monty and Brandon through our whole experience, booking through to check out.

Clean, convenient, beautiful and very family friendly!

The host and property manager was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They accommodated our late check out and we’re promptly available when we landed. The unit itself was beautiful, clean, well stocked and perfect for families. The hotel was lovely and in a beautiful location. Would definitely recommend :)
