We wanted to have a place that provided us seclusion, beauty, and acreage. This home away from home gave us four seasons and a perfect get-a-way from those hot summer days. We could not have asked for anything better when we found this gem for our family.
On a clear day you can see the rim of the Grand Canyon...
Beautiful views. Everything just like the description. Thank you for opening up your house.
Great place with everything you need and close to Grand Canyon South Rim.
We absolutely loved this home - very private and hidden away from the main road, but close enough to the town of Williams (15-20 mins) and many places to visit. Clean! We stayed for 6 nights and were able to visit Red Rock State Park and go ATVing in Sedona, visit the Grand Canyon with Marvelous Marv (highly recommend), visit Bearizona (20 mins), visit Sunset Crater (do the Lava Flow Trail) and Wupatki Natl Monument Pueblo. A wonderful week with absolutely everything we needed while on vacation - great kitchen, grill, guide books and magazines, even games for the gameplayers in our group. The laundry room was very handy and we discovered so many useful things in the home throughout the week! Plenty of towels for all three full bathrooms, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, mini bottles of shampoo, soap. Just perfect. One thing that was different from the posted photos: The bedroom downstairs on basement level has a beautiful (I believe) queen bed. There is gorgeous light down there from the windows - so not dark at all. The MBR is on the main/first floor with en suite bath and two sinks, shower and separate tub. Second floor has Queen bedroom with a very large closet with slanted ceiling that is big enough for a crib and/or a younger child or children to sleep on blow-up beds if they wanted to. Cozy space! Second bedroom on this floor had a day bed, another twin mattress, and we used a cot in there as well - slept three adults easily. The bathroom on this floor is a nice size with a tub/enclosed shower with sliding doors. The third bathroom is on the main level off the family room area - like a powder room, but with a glass enclosed corner shower. Very convenient to have 3 full bathrooms! There were hair dryers in the MBR and 2nd floor baths. The dining table was REALLY nice - enough room to seat 10. Only one suggestion: wish there were one more sofa or large chair in the family room area. Lovely fireplace - but with 9 people in our group, would have liked a little more comfy seating. If you need to "work" on your laptop - just be aware that the internet in the house was available, but we had difficulty connecting - slow and the sites often timed out. Could not really use it. LTE was available on our cell phones - so could use that, but difficult trying to connect via WiFi. Otherwise, absolutely perfect and easy to connect with the local housekeeper via text if we needed anything! We all loved being there together as a family!
The layout was perfect for a large group. Location location location......right between so many activities! Unbelievable views! ! A favorite was sitting outside and listening to the wildlife or watching the stars!! Really felt like home!!
Perfect in every way.any expectation that you might have courted for a house to accommodate family time is met in this house. The owner has thought of everything that you might possibly need and then some. Wonderfully located near the Grand Canyon Flagstaff and Sedona yet secluded.
My family and I stayed at this beautiful house on vacation to see The Grand Canyon and Sedona. It was perfect for our group of seven adults, was clean, spacious, and easy to find yet privately located. Stay here. You will not regret it.
