About the owner: Born and raised in Stratford, I am a chef educator by training. Currently I teach children and adults how to grow and cook their own food, as well as lead Slow Food Youth in many activities related to food. An avid hiker, I can be found walking at the Upper Thames Conservation Authority, where I also own a cottage (which I stay at during the summer, which leaves the house free for you!)
Why the Owner Chose Stratford, ON, Canada:
The house is so charming and convenient to downtown, I had to buy it!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house is 140 years old and has been lovingly cared for so it still possesses many of its original architectural features. Whether it is the high baseboards, pine floors, original windows or large living room, the house is lovely, warm and inviting.
