Lovely Historic Inn
We were warmly welcomed by Ellen after a long day of travel from GA. Our suite, the Jannine, was the absolutely charming. The four post King bed was dressed with lovely linens. The decor was absolutely enchanting, and included a recessed fireplace and comfy sofa. Large windows overlooked the picturesque grounds. Bathroom linens were ample and plush. Perhaps the best feature of this inn is the owner, Ellen. Not only was she a warm and gracious hostess, she was an inspired cook as well. Our breakfasts were amazing and varied and we enjoyed the conversation around the table. Ellen's helper Audrey, an adorable Basset Hound, complimented the ambiance of this fine accommodation. Finally, the Inn's location in the peaceful countryside, only 40 minutes from the heart of Chattanooga offered a peaceful refuge after a day filled with sightseeing. We will definitely stay again when we visit TN! Thank you!
The Plantation House is at the end of the road that overlooks the Hiawassee River and large homes on the river. There is a wonderful view of the mountains in the Cherokee National Forest in the distance.
Great private location off the beaten path with lots of property to do outdoor activities. Gorgeous Magnolias bloom in June.
