With two bedrooms (each containing a queen-size bed) and a sofabed in the living room, six guests will be more than comfortable here! With a shared enclosed yard and doggy clean-up stations, the house and grounds are very dog-friendly so feel welcome to bring your furry friends with you! Please note that there is an additional fee..
You and your guests will love gathering in the living room, lighting a fire in the gas fireplace, watching some cable TV or using the DVD player, and enjoying the WiFi access while gazing out the large window at the surroundings. A full kitchen has all the essential equipment for cooking up tasty meals. With both a shower and a tub in the bathroom, you'll be able to enjoy a relaxing bubble bath at the end of a long fun-filled day!

Great fenced location for kids to play out front in the snow the large window made it easy to watch them. Close to all shopping and resturants and most importantly the ski runs and resorts
We have been coming to Spruce Grove for many years. It is our home away from home and our happy place for friends and dogs. We look forward to many more vacations to Lake Tahoe and staying at our favorite place. It is convenient for shopping, restaurants, hiking, skiiing, boating, etc. Bring some of your own kitchen items such as knives, big pots, etc. The cabins are cozy and comfortable and feel like home, not a hotel. We had some bear visitors-so watch before letting your dogs out. We book the whole property so it is even more fun to hang out in the yard, hot tub and bbq and eat together.
When I arrived at the cabin and started to switch on the lights, I realized that two of the lighting fixtures didn't work and the ones that did had 40 watt light bulbs, making the cabin very dim. Because the living room has a large picture window and affords no privacy when the blinds are open, I was forced to keep them closed most of the time, exacerbating the lighting problem. To make matters worse, it was an unseasonably cold few days in Lake Tahoe and the heater didn't work. The cabin was clean, but everything outside of the TV was very old. The place looks like it hasn't seen any upgrades since the 1980's, at the latest.
Customer service was of little help. After several calls on the first night (Monday), all I got were assurances that the property manager would be over soon to address the problems. One representative I spoke with was in Chile! The next morning, I called customer service again and again I got assurances that the property manager would contact me soon. I replied that I was only staying from Monday through Wednesday, so my stay was already over half over by then. I told her that I had made plans and I didn't intend to sit around all day waiting for someone to come by. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor and was told that someone would call me back within 10 minutes. After 45 minutes, no one had called so I called back and demanded to speak to a supervisor immediately. Finally, someone came on the line and I told her my dissatisfaction both with the rental and with the fact that the property manager hadn't even bothered to call me. She did refund my cleaning fee when I requested a discount for my troubles. However, I didn't receive a call from the property manager until 5pm on Tuesday -- nearly 24 hours after I had checked in. She left some higher wattage light bulbs while I was out, but that was it.
No one was outright rude, but when some of the reps you're speaking with are as far away as Chile, it doesn't give you confidence. And continued apologies and assurances that your issues will be addressed get annoying when you don't see any action. The property manager was absolutely terrible! She should have at least called the first night to set up a time for her to come by to address my problems. I felt like no one cared about my satisfaction at all. I was hoping that I had found a source for vacation rentals in the future, but I'm very reluctant to rent from Vacasa again.
We went with a group of 4 to Tahoe. It was very beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of being out in the lake. Hope to come back soon!
Spent 4 nights with our son, daughter-in-law and their two Boston Terriers in Sept 2016. Overall we loved the location of this cabin. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach; yet it quiet and has the feel of being in the mountains surrounded by tall pine trees. We felt the cabin was quite dated and in need of better lighting. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
