About Judy Valentine
Jim and Judy operated a sign shop, Val-U-Signs, in Oak Ridge, TN from the mid 80's until 2006. When we retired, our son purchased, and now operates, the business. I guess we couldn't stay retired because here we are starting another business. In 2005 we purchased a Crestline modular home and erected it on our property in Norris (8.6 acres). We lived in the home until early 2012. It's a lovely home, but more space than we need. We subdivided the property, moved another house next door and now live there. Over the years we have done quite a bit of entertaining in the Rabbit Run house. Plus there was one wedding and one memorial service. It really is a perfect place to have a gathering. We chose the name because we have had a rabbit rescue here for several years. Animal lovers and children will enjoy the variety of animals. Our rabbit rescue pen has become a home for chickens. Our granddaughter, Charlie, is an animal lover; and chickens are her current favorite. We still have a house rabbit in our home as well as 2 parakeets, The rabbit is a white Netherland Dwarf named Marshmallow. Just let me know if your children would like to visit Marshmallow and/or the birds, There are also four cats--they are all gentle, and they may come to visit the Rabbit Run house yard. We now have two goats--Pansy and Daisy, and there are, 3 rabbits in cage below the office. The goats are in the barn, and you are welcome to visit them--they are very tame. Adults please accompany children, and be sure to keep the barn gate closed.
Judy Valentine purchased this Chateau / Country House in 2005
Why Judy Valentine chose Clinton
It's a lovely and peaceful place. When we purchased the property in 1997, we wanted to be in the country without being too far from civilization. It's just a few minutes to drive to walking trails, streams, Norris Dam and Norris State Park.
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
Only an hour away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, the retreat is 16 miles north of Knoxville, TN--just minutes away from Norris Lake, Norris Dam, the Clinch River, Appalachian Museum, U.T. Stadium, hiking, biking, and horseback trails. Shopping, restaurants, and easy interstate access are all close by.

High School Cross Country Nationals
15 Student/Athletes competed in the AAU Cross Country Nationals in Knoxville. Judy's house was the perfect location for our stay. The house was large, clean and well located. We would stay here again if we are in Knoxville.
Will likely stay here again. Great location, and plenty of room.
A very nice place to relax and unwind. Thanks Judy.
Amazing property and super accessible to the Clinch River. A fly fisherman dream location.
Perfect for our group!
The house and location were awesome! Good parking space, nice yard, we felt safe, plenty of beds and rooms were available! Our family enjoyed being all together. For the 8 adults and 5 children we had there were plenty of bathrooms. The mattresses could use an upgrade soon and the house although it was lovely and we enjoyed it a good cleaning is needed.
The owner is amazing! She responds very fast and solved any problems or met any requests very promptly and effectively! I would definitely recommend this property for a family gathering or group retreat!
This was a great place for our families to gather as it was centrally located. The young kids in our group enjoyed the swing and the chickens in the yard. Inside there was plenty of room for all to spread out. Overall, a good experience.
Enjoyed this retreat-style property!
