One of the original Stinson Beach homes renovated for a memorable stay in this classic California beach town. Wonderful Ocean and Mountain Views from every room upstairs and a sun deck overlooking the town and beach. The quaint backyard native garden features additional decks and a hot tub to provide a relaxing and tranquil get away from it all. This home is for folks who want to park their car and enjoy walking to restaurants, hiking trails, library, playground, shops, our market and the beach all within 300 steps. Two downstairs bedrooms with queen beds and a small single bedroom all with french doors to the outside. It is protected from the coastal wind and has some of the mildest weather in this region. The home is up the hill from the store above the town and has some foot and vehicle traffic that pass by the house. It is far enough away from the beach and town activities to remain somewhat civilized and as always, gives you an entertaining look at the local culture and wonderful walking access to this fantastic part of California.

I grew up locally and traveled to 70 different countries but always knew that Stinson Beach would be a place that I would enjoy. The access to so much natural beauty both coastal and mountain and endless recreational opportunities was a perfect match for my interests and lifestyle. I was careful while upgrading this property to preserve the original footprint and classic beach feeling of the home.

Amazing location and accommodations!

We are so pleased with our stay here! It was a few minute walk to the beach and only market in town, and the views of the ocean were phenomenal. Very clean house and had all the appliances etc. we needed. Would highly recommend this place!

Stunning Beach House

This property was perfect for our family. The house is well equipt with everything you'd need, especially in the kitchen.

The house is fantastically furnished, we loved the large dining table for breakfast as you can see the ocean so clearly, it was a real treat. The outdoor facilities are great if you're lucky enough to get good weather, the wraparound balcony allows you to catch the sun at any time. The hot tub was so much fun too.

Gorgeous property, lovely little town and really helpful service from Jim. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location, view and home!

This home is a short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the grocery store, restaurants and access to hiking trails. The home has a well equipped kitchen so that you can prepare meals with ease, if you desire. There is a market less than a block away. Mill Valley is not far, as the crow flies, but is a long very winding road into Stinson. We came from out of state and stopped for groceries in Mill Valley beforehand. We still managed to spend plenty of time and money in the local market and restaurants ;)

The owner is very hospitable and friendly. The backyard is a multilevel garden beautifully landscaped and has a small water feature. Very serene setting and amazing view of the ocean. A basket full of brochures of the area helped us plan our daily adventures to hiking trails, shopping in Olema, seeing "the birds" in Bodega Bay, climbing to the top of Mt. Tamalpais, visiting the lighthouse (almost, but another story) at Pt. Reyes, and walking the lovely beach at Stinson!

We arrived off season, so the town/beach were active but not overrun. Parking is minimal at the home but we had three cars and managed to park two smaller cars in the provided parking area and the third one very nearby.

Perfect location and house

We loved our stay at this beach house. The location couldn't be better. We walked to the beach every day. We cooked in the house and walked to Parkside for meals. The house and beautiful garden were perfect for a small family. The beach toys and chairs were a nice touch. The views are amazing. Couldn't have asked for more!
