My family and I came to Mexico for the first time ever this past July, and we were skeptical. This resort eliminated any fears we had! The house is in an ideal location, with an amazing view. We were so impressed with the home, its design and décor. It was private but still definitely part of the compound, with a three minute walk to the infinity pool that looked out over the ocean. There is also an infinity pool right on the beach, just a quick walk down the path to the resort's exquisite beach club. There are three delicious restaurants in the resort, as well as a mini-market, medical office, and place to book semi-private boat tours of the area's breath-taking islands like Espiritu Santo. We took a tour that included amazing snorkeling with sea lions and fish under a natural island arch as well as a chef-prepared lunch of seafood caught right in the private lagoon that morning and kayaking around natural caves and inlets of the wildlife preserve. I've never seen such beautiful, pristine water brimming with sea life! We did not play golf, but instead enjoyed the golf club's delicious offerings. The view of the Sea of Cortez from atop the clubhouse restaurant is perhaps the best in La Paz. The resort is very close (less than a 10-min drive) to the action in the city of La Paz as well as a 20-minute scenic drive to famous Balandra Beach. We also took easy day trips to Todos Santos and El Triunfo/Los Barriles. The people of Baja are friendly, welcoming and truly proud of their beautiful home (and it shows in how they take care of it and enjoy all it has to offer). If you are looking for a quiet, easy going vacay filled with natural beauty and welcoming locals, bypass the tourist trap of Los Cabos for this!
My wife and I had never been to Mexico and were not sure what it would be like. Our trip was wonderful. The house is located in a golf resort and had great views of the golf course and the water. there are 3-4 excellent restaurants located at the resort and we ended up eating at three of them during our three night stay. All of the restaurants were very good. We went into town and ate at a waterside restaurant one afternoon and played golf the other afternoon. One of the best golf courses we have played... It was a wonderful, quiet, restful, short get away. We hope to go back again soon
