Home away from home is what you'll get when you rent this fabulous condo for your next vacation to Kailua Kona. The unit is fully equipped. It has a King bed in the bedroom and a double bed sofa sleeper in the living room. Washer and dryer in the unit. Free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen incase you actually want to cook while on vacation, or just eat breakfast.
The Royal Sea Cliff has 2 swimming pools - one fresh water and a heated salt water pool, jacuzzi hot tub and 3 different BBQ areas to BBQ the fish you caught on your fishing trip. There are also gorgeous garden atrium through the middle of the resort with waterfalls and lots of tropical plants. The resort is a little over a mile from the heart of Kailua Kona and less than 1/2 mile to the nearest farmers market.
Whether you just want to relax and sunbathe around the pool all day or go site seeing. This condo is a great starting point for each day.
We live in California but take every opportunity to enjoy our condo when we can. We've updated the kitchen with new appliances, counter tops and flooring.

Me and my husband stayed there a few days and everything was great!! We had everything we needed, and it was very easy to find and get to. Nicely stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, and it even had some spices and such for me to be able to cook with "flavor", very much appreciated!! Comfortable bed and tv in bedroom and living room was convenient. A.C was cool threw out the whole unit. The sliding glass doors opened up to a nice patio, my favorite part, with lounge chairs and a BEAUTIFUL view of ocean. The pool is right there too!! The property manager, Debbie was very helpful and accommodated us with all we needed to have a easy, and great time here! I would definitely come back and would recommend this unit to stay!! It could have been great, it wasn't. Great location and good views. However there were several minor issues and one really serious health issue. The condo smells, really, seriously a lot, and for us it turned into a health issue due to high levels mold and mildew within the condo. It should be noted that this condo is at ground level but that IS NOT the cause of the mold/mildew issues. We toured all of the surrounding units and visited often with new friends in a neighboring unit. NONE of them smelled or had evidence of the mold and mildew issues of this unit.
The use of inferior, cheap and poor quality materials during very unskilled amateurish remodeling projects has resulted in extremely high continuous moisture levels. This in turn has resulted in very high mold and mildew levels throughout the condo. By the end of our month long stay my wife and I were both suffering from lung and sinus congestion. This is unhealthy for all and for some this could be extremely dangerous.
The cheap laminate flooring is incorrectly installed and is not suitable for installation on a concrete floor. Some laminate flooring may work in this type of installation when properly sourced and installed - not in this case. When it rains the floors become wet and you leave footprints when you walk. You can't close the windows and doors when you leave because upon returning the smell is overpowering. You can smell the unit from the outside walkway as you pass by the open windows. There is mold/mildew inside the kitchen light fixture, on the air conditioner vent and who knows where else.
The rest of the remodeling that has been undertaken is of the same poor quality as the cheap incorrectly installed laminate flooring that runs throughout the condo. The over sink light was replaced and the wire nuts and electrical connection hangs outside the fixture. They painted over previous wall hangers and on and on. The four outdoor chairs are gross, old, disgusting and we never sat on them. The two lounges are ok. The screen doors do not roll because the wheels are totally corroded away........
We do have pictures to back up everything that we have reported. Highly not recommended.
I thought this was a great deal for the price. Would go here again.
Unit was comfortable, clean, and in OK working order. Proximity to pool and parking was a plus.
Unit could use upgrading, but was fine given not much waking time is spent inside.
