About Sunshine Nance

Our family enjoyed the Tee Lake Home for nine years! Dad's favorite hobby is cooking so we always had a houseful - especially during summer months when friends wanted to be with us on the lake. Mom is an avid runner and found many miles of quiet country roads and trails to run on.

We enjoy spending time together, listening to music, and traveling. My sister and I have been many interesting places with mom and dad. Now work takes us to the East Coast. We want to share our home with guests who will love it as much as we do.

Sunshine Nance purchased this estate in 2005

Why Sunshine Nance chose Tahuya

We knew this was the property within moments of arriving. The Western exposure keeps the sun on the yard as late as 10:30 in the summer. The lake is peaceful yet brings many, many fun memories. The chef's kitchen is ideal for entertaining and the extra space in the game room comes in handy for enjoying movies or playing a game of pool.

What makes this estate unique

Lakefront facing the Olympic Mountain range with motor and non-motor boat traffic makes this home heavenly year-round. It is peaceful, quiet and breathtaking. We hope you love it as much as all our guests.

Great for multiple families with kids!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the Tee Lake Lodge, and had a lot of fun playing in the lake and watching movies in the theater area downstairs. There was plenty of space, which allowed our group (4 families with kids) to spread out easily. The rental amenities provided met most of our needs, with the only exception being that there was only 1 roll of paper towels and no extra rolls or napkins, so we had to go buy some more, but other than that the house had everything we needed. If you have toddlers, I'd recommend gathering up the remotes in the house and putting them out of reach - the living room, master bedroom and game/theater room downstairs each had several, but other than access to electronics/buttons, the house was very kid-friendly.

Our family had a wonderful stay on Tee Lake. Kids enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding. A beautiful area easy to get to from Seattle. The owner Sunshine was always responsive to any questions we had. It was a quiet beautiful place and the perfect house for us.

I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, huge home and great lake for swimming.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a large group - 3 families with young kids. There was plenty of space and plenty of beds for everyone. So nice! The home is very comfortable and the outdoor space is great. The path to the lake is steep as the owner notes in the description but it was still easy to walk and not as bad as I was expecting. Also, the home is very private. You can't see any neighbors, which is very nice!
