High-end custom home sleeps 14! This home boasts the best of 30-A and is perfectly situated between Seaside and Rosemary with easy access to all the area has to offer.

Located South of 30-A on a quiet cul-d-sac in Seagrove one row back from the beach, this custom designed, professionally decorated home has the best of all worlds. Conveniently situated between Seaside to the West and Rosemary to the East, enjoy the amenities of the area, then escape to your own quiet paradise when the crowds and traffic get to be too much. This home has its own boardwalk in the front yard making it easy to go back and forth to the beach throughout your stay - no shuttles, carts or

long walks here. The home includes its own custom-designed pool with a sun shelf great for lounging in the pool or for the kids to play. Large covered porches next to the pool and on the upper level give plenty of room for relaxing outdoors when the sun is up or to enjoy ocean breezes at night. The first floor entry includes a separate multi-purpose room that can be used as a pool cabana room with bath by day, converting to a bedroom at night. A lovely staircase leads to the upper floors where the 2nd floor

family room and kitchen is the hub of the home. The family room includes a 50” Smart TV/Direct TV, reading/work nook, built in desk and separate powder bath. The kitchen includes seating for 3 at the large island, dining table for 6-8 and commercial grade stainless steel appliances. There is a separate 35 lb capacity ice maker so you never run out of ice! The Master suite is located steps away on this level and includes a king poster bed, access to the second level balcony, Smart TV and beautiful bathroom.

The 3rd floor, in addition to two queen bedrooms, is also a convenient getaway for kids. The loft area is open to the family room below and includes a Smart TV, queen sleeper sofa and 4 bunk beds each with its own lighting. There are two bathrooms on this floor, one private and the other shared.

The owners have tried to provide the best of everything for their guests. Three A/C units provide each floor with its own climate control for optimal comfort. USB charging ports and quad electrical outlets provide plenty of power throughout. A 75 gallon gas hot water system ensures no one runs out of hot water when getting ready. The professionally decorated interior, modern conveniences, perfect location and additional touches combine to make this home truly stand out on 30-A. We are the real Crabb Family and hope you enjoy your stay at The Crabb Shack – our little piece of paradise at the beach.

What makes this house unique

This home has its own deeded beach boardwalk in the front yard, making it easy to carry your beach gear back and forth. No shuttles, carts or long walks here. No parties of any kind are allowed. The home also includes its own custom-designed, ozonated (newest technology) pool with sun shelf that can be heated at your request for an additional charge. Sitting on 1/2 acre with a 150' driveway there is abundant off-street parking.

Great place (in a year when the construction is done next door)

First off...nice place. The photos make it look a lot larger than it is, but it was sufficient for our needs. We enjoyed all of the new features and it was very close to the beach. Lots of pros here. There were a few negatives that we found out about immediately. First off the parking. See that nice little parking around back? You cant use that. You have to stack your cars in a single row and it is fun when trying to fish your car out of the front and everyone has to move their car for you to get out. Next noise. If you want to know what our beach trip sounded like, go sit next to an air compressor for 10 hours a day. The site next door (20 feet? maybe 30?) has all of their air compressors on the porch facing you. At first it was not so bad, but to see the cost of this place AND have constant gets old. Last, but not necessarily least is the garbage smell. There must not be enough trash cans for other houses and everyone uses yours. Then the trash piles up over the top and the smell is something that you dont want to be around for long. When the trash man did finally come, the sour smell was overwhelming for about a day (until new trash in the cans could literally cover it up!)

All in all, we had a good time. Again, this house will be super in a year or so when the construction is done. Until then...good luck.

We recently returned from a wonderful Spring Break trip at the Crabb Shack and couldn't have had a better vacation. We had three families consisting of 6 adults and 8 children (ranging in age from 1-12). The house was well appointed with great furnishing and finely decorated with many nice small details. They had beach toys available for us upon arrival and 2 beach chairs and an umbrella ready for us on the beach each day. This was a great touch.

The pictures in the VRBO description of the property does make the house seem larger than it actually is, but we had plenty of room at the beach, on the decks, and around the pool that didn't make it seem too crowded. The bedrooms were small but beautiful and the bunk area and murphy bed were our saving grace with all the children. The kitchen is difficult to cook with multiple people, but who needs too many cooks in the kitchen, anyway. The pool is cozy and the heater was a must during the unpredictable weather we had during our week. There is currently construction directly to the west of the home which disrupted a few quiet afternoons, but didn't ruin our days.

The walkway to the beach is easy and quick. We could return to use the restroom and grab snacks quickly without missing any of the fun in the sun. It also made it quite manageable to carry beach chairs, toys, and coolers to the beach.

This area of Seagrove is by far the best for easy, quiet days. Even during spring break, the beach was not crowded and there was plenty of room to throw Frisbees and build sand castles. The Seaside area was swamped with teens and preteens riding bikes like crazy people and causing congestion throughout. Once off of 30-A, this area was quiet, calm, and perfect for families with smaller children. Further down the beach in Seaside, it looked like a college spring break. There were also a few great restaurants close by that were not as crowded as other locations.

In all, we would return to this house and especially this location of Seagrove any time of the year! We loved it!

Beautiful home

This was our second time back. Great home, love the neighborhood, close to the beach. We biked into seaside daily. Very kid friendly set up. Will continue to return
