Wendy - We had a great time this weekend. I came down with a cold right before we left, but pushed through it and had fun hiking in the hills above Marshall Gold Discovery Park, playing in the river, grabbing fruit at Hooverville and going berry picking at Patrick's. Had dinner/drinks last night at Lava Cap, which we will definitely be returning to. The room was fantastic.
We will definitely recommend your place to friends looking for a getaway.
We stayed for 5 days and everything was very clean on our arrival. We LOVED having a kitchen to cook our own meals in. The heater + fireplace kept everything nice and toasty and the bed was wonderful.
We were pleasantly surprised that so many amenities were Provided for us.
this apartment is beautiful, very clean which is a high priority for me private parking all amenities available full kitchen and a very comfortable bed.
it was perfectly located for us to get to restaurants and shopping and even a short drive to where our family lives. I would recommend staying here to anyone I know that's coming up to the Sierra foothills and wants to have a private cozy comfortable and clean Home away from home.

This is a really nice, well equipped and comfortable stay. Easy walk to town for restaurants. We had a small problem with the air conditioning unit on day 1 and the owner Wendy, who was most apologetic, resolved the issue immediately. The room is super cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. All in all one of the nicest stays I have had at this type of property in quite a while!
Stayed at this charming one bedroom place while visiting the "Gold Country' of northern California. This place could not have been a better 'home away from home'. The owner was very accommodating when asked questions, along with informative information for the surrounding areas to enjoy your stay. The apartment was well furnished with all the accommodations you will need. The unit had a separate kitchen in which, if you wanted, to cook your own meals, but, plenty of restaurants in Placerville to enjoy. Only downside, and may be corrected by timing of this writing, there was no cable for television, but did not worry us as much because the surroundings were plentiful that you really didn't need it. The accommodations also came with your own parking area in the back of the house so you didn't have to park on the street. Felt very safe. Will definitely stay there again!!!
I was fortunate enough to spend a full two weeks in the Daffodil suite. I was very impressed with this suite from the moment I arrived. Everything from the grounds,to the entrance, to the suite itself are neat and clean. The pictures don't do the place justice. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Oh, and the bed.....to die for! I've never liked a hotel or suite bed better than the one I have at home, except this time! Money well spent!
We love this place. This was our second visit and the place is always clean and nice. Walking distance to downtown Placerville and close to all the Apple Hill Wineries.
From the Bay Area/ Sacramento. Take HWY 80 to Sacramento. Stay in the left lane to merge onto HWY 50 in Sacramento. At the second stop light in Placerville turn left at the Spring Street exit onto Spring Street (HWY 49 North).
From North Lake Tahoe/ Auburn take HWY 80 East to Auburn. In Auburn follow signs to HWY 49 South. Take HWY 49 South to Placerville. Just before the intersection with Spring and Coloma Streets take the driveway on the right for 2920 Coloma Street. If you get to the intersection of HWY 50 and HWY 49 in downtown Placervills you have gone one block too far.
From South Lake Tahoe take HWY 50 West to downtown Placerville, Take the Coloma Street exit. Drive straight x one block to the intersection of Coloma and Spring Streets. Cross the intersection and we are the first driveway on the left.
