This two bedroom/one bath cottage sits above the water with a view both North and East.
It is an open concept dining, kitchen and living space with a propane fireplace with large windows looking over the view.
A large deck allows guests to sit outside to enjoy a quiet evening while enjoying both the view and the many deer that pass through the property.
Two bedrooms allow for four guests and a sleeper sofa in the living room makes additional space. Cottage sleeps four only, though!
The cottage is newly painted throughout with new hardwood floors.
A wonderful sandy beach, perfect for playing in the sand or water, is less than a third of a mile away. There is a small boat ramp to launch your canoe or kayak.

Pono's Place is named after our rescue Golden Retriever. He loves the water and the beach and this cottage centers around the beach and the view.
We love dogs and well behaved dogs are welcome here.
Pono is a Hawaiian word meaning 'Do the Right Thing!' Rescuing Pono from an unhappy home and giving him the freedom to run on a beach is the right thing and we know your dogs will love it too!
The cottage takes advantage of the spectacular of the Sound and Camano Island views.
The cottage is clean, newly painted and updated and a perfect week or weekend getaway from the bustle of the big City!
Small boat launch available nearby
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the little town of Langley was charming as well when we visited there.
We really enjoyed our stay at Pono's Place. The location is great - it's quiet, safe, and easy to find, and is close to Langley.
The house was spacious and clean, and really felt like home for the weekend. It was so nice to be able to take our dogs, and look out at the beautiful view from the living room.
Thank you, Laura, for helping make our weekend perfect!
We had so much fun when we stayed here. Got to relax on the deck with the fire pit, our dogs and view of the ocean - beautiful. We will go back for sure.
Very thoughtful with supplies in the home, found little things we needed that we would have never taken with us - string, scissors, pliers. Wonderful to have a place to be able to take our dogs as well, they loved it too. Looking forward to staying at another of the properties this family has too.
My family of 4 and I loved this very special property as soon as we pulled up into the driveway. We're from the Portland area, so the drive (and subsequent Ferry wait on a holiday weekend) was LONG. We felt relaxed as soon as we walked into this cozy home. The town of Langley (a 6-mile scenic drive away) is adorable and we spent a lot of time at the local places... Sprinklz for ice cream, The Village Pizzaria, OM local Wine bar, the Star Store, etc. Langley was very charming and we drove to Coupeville as well.
Drive respectfully, as there are many, many deer! We saw at least a dozen, one of which wandered into the neighbor's yard. They are all over the island and wonderful to see.
Pono's place has a great view of the water and it's just a quick walk down to the private beach, where my daughter collected tons of shells. One thing I really enjoyed about the house is that the beds were extremely comfortable, the decor is clean and attractive, and the house is very dog-friendly (we brought ours!). I also love that the house that provides a lot of towels... my kids go through them quick! Nice little fire pit on the deck where we made s'mores.
The kids were super excited on the 4th when we had a perfect view of big, beautiful fireworks being lit on the beach. I would definitely rent this home again!
We had a quite lovely stay here! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it, though sleeping was hard with the neighbors loud wind chimes, and the beds were quite uncomftorable. We loved going to the park right nearby. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn't get the outdoor fireplace working. I personally liked counting all 4 of the neighbors cats. The diner nearby was A+. It was very fascinating seeing the two eagles dive bombing in the morning. Overall I would recommend staying at this quiet, ( except for the neighbors wind chimes) peaceful property.
