Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
the views and private location of this home are over the top.
With that said, the house is in desperate need of updating. Grandma's furniture and decor detract from the enjoyment. The cushions on couches and chairs sag and are very uncomfortable. The bed upstairs made our backs ache all day the next day. Kitchen needs to be remodeled - still looks like it is right out of the 80's and if you are shorter than 5'6" - you won't be able to work at the counters without a stool as they are 3 inches higher than normal. No dishwasher - Definitely have to be able to climb stairs as one of the two bedrooms is only accessible by a spiral staircase and the main floor is up a flight of stairs too. So two bedrooms and three living rooms sort of make this home dysfunctional.
but all and all - we enjoyed our stay. the price does not reflect the condition of the house.
This spot just south of Fort Bragg is fantastic! views are the best!
The house has great bones but is in serious need of updating. Grandma's furniture and decorating needs to be replaced and kitchen needs remodeling. No dishwasher. Couches and chairs are sagging. Mattress in the upstairs bedroom left our backs aching all day. We needed a bedroom on main floor which the description states the home has - and yes that is true. Problem is you have to climb a circular staircase to get to the rest of the house. Two bedrooms and three living rooms, it is what an appraiser would say is a dysfunctional home.
All that said - we enjoyed our stay.
We were lucky enough to stay here again. We were here last year and knew we'd be back. Such a stunning property with over the top views! Again, we hardly left the house because we couldn't imagine a better view. It's very private and quiet. I highly recommend staying at Ocean Breeze.
Upon arrival we found the house and setting gorgeous. Inside was breathtaking until we realized the fireplace in the main living room and master bedroom were just for show. Neither one of them were functioning but were used in the pictures as a selling point. On the second night there, which was Valentines Day and our 29th anniversary, someone decided to use our private hotub and left cigarettes butts on the ground. The third evening my husband walked out on the deck and there was an extremely rough looking man on his bike riding along the bottom of the house back from where the hottub is located. My husband had to threaten to call the police to get him to leave. As we looked around the next day we could tell he had gotten off his bike and walked over to look in the bedroom window. Even seeing whales and having a breathtaking view could not take away the unease we felt. We wouldn't even use the hot tub as who knows who had been in it or if they were watching us. We left a day early as we just couldn't relax. My advice...look elsewhere to stay. Vacations are meant for relaxing and this certainly was not that!!
Let me state that the house was & is amazing. We like it so much we are going back next month for our 48th wedding anniversary. But I,m very unhappy with being force to pay for a spa that we are unable to use (health issues) ) but if we could, it was cloudy, filthy, and full of foam .I would expect it to be crystial clear if everybody who rents the house is paying a $40.00 cleaning fee. The website claims there is a fireplace ,which was lock up & unusable. I feel we should be refunded the $40.00 cleaning fee because we did not & could not use the spa, & u need to honest on your website!!
