The picturesque setting of Alpine Rendezvous welcomes you to relax and rejuvenate in the comforts of the recently remodeled three bedroom vacation home. Expansive wood beams and the rock fireplace provide an open yet cozy backdrop for your Rhododendron getaway.
Rhododendron provides ample opportunity for recreation or sightseeing, and Alpine Rendezvous is in the heart of it all. Fly fish or river raft the Sandy River, located steps from the home. Hike in Mt. Hood National Forest or mountain bike on the popular Sandy Ridge Trail System, a challenging 15-mile trail through Douglas Fir and Hemlock forest.
During the winter ski or snowboard at one of three resorts, Timberline Lodge, Mt, Hood Skibowl, and Mt. Hood Meadows, all within a 40 minute drive. Or if you prefer something closer snowshoe and cross country ski trails can be found in the nearby Mt. Hood National Forest.
Nature abounds in Rhododendron and the views from the deck and dining room attest to this. Enjoy the views as you dine-in: the kitchen is equipped to prepare, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Three bedrooms comfortably accommodate eight guests, and you can utilize the futon in the third bedroom to sleep up to ten.
While Alpine Rendezvous can help you get away from the stress of daily life, it also offers WiFi and a small office area to connect with friends and family - and even the office if necessary!
Enjoy fresh blueberries picked from the yard for breakfast or a light afternoon snack. Alpine Rendezvous is perfect for the outdoor adventurer or those who want to sit on the sideline and enjoy the view. Rejuvenate in front of the fireplace or reconnect with nature while hiking, biking, or fishing.
Getting away to Rhododendron has never been so enticing, and Alpine Rendezvous, with its picturesque views and quaint features, makes it a retreat you'll remember for a lifetime!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We enjoyed ourselves for my son's 6thh birthday, it was great being able to send the kids upstairs to play wii while the adults enjoyed the downstairs. Also, I loved that there was room for everyone at the table for meal times!
We had a wonderful stay at this location. It was convenient. The management's communication was excellent!
This is a great getaway for two families. The property was very comfortable and the cousins really enjoyed the sleeping porch. Proximity to the mountain was great and we all enjoyed the some skiing. We had some problems with the heat the first night but the local property manager was very friendly and helpful. He was able to troubleshoot and solve the issue.
Fenced off in a neighborhood had most of the amenities. Very fun stay. Considering a $125 cleaning fee I would expect The dishes to be clean but did have to rewash quite a bit. Besides that pretty great.
We all agreed we've never had better sleep. It was awesome! Makes us want to move to Portland.
Unfortunately our trip was really inhibited by the quality of the plumbing. The sink was clogged and the pipes under the sink had a hole in them and they flooded. We spent some of our trip cleaning filthy water and managing using a different sink to eat and clean dishes. Plus the lodge wasn't as clean when we arrived as one would hope. For instant the dishes were cloudy and gross. We won't be using VRBO again, especially when we paid as much as we did for the location only to have our trip experience be poor.
