Overview

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 7

This three-bedroom, two-bath beach getaway is located in the Bayshore Beach Club community, and offers access to the seasonal swimming pool. Of course, don't spend all your time in the swimming pool - you came to Waldport so you could hit the sandy beaches! And you'll be just a short walk to the shore and the Alsea River.

You hope it won't rain, but even if it does, you won't be stranded. This community has a seasonal swimming pool open in the summer, which is available for a daily fee. This home is also about 15 miles south of the popular town of Newport, where you can check out the touristy harbor with all kinds of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and shops. Or head the other direction to Yachats for more beaches, tide pools, and whale watching.

This house has a great laid-back feel and will put you in the vacation mood. The living room has a comfortable sofa, flat screen television with cable and a DVD player. In addition, this home has WiFi for surfing the net. Right next to the living room is a cute dining room with a spacious table big enough for six. This room also has sliding glass doors leading out onto the deck where you can enjoy the sea evening air. Cooking meals in will be simple in this open kitchen, complete with full-size stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, and more.

There are three bedrooms in this home, so all seven guests will have a suitable place to sleep. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and a big picture window, and the second room also has a queen bed. The final bedroom is a great space for the kids, as it has a twin bed plus a twin-over-futon bunk bed. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. You'll also be glad to know that this home is equipped with a washer and dryer for keeping those bathing suits clean and dry!

This is a great family vacation home; it is close to everything and yet you'll really feel like you're away from it all! The big deck offers beautiful views of the trailing waterways and lets you relax in the sun on a warm summer day. This charming home and Waldport's sandy beaches await!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great little hideaway!

 • 4 of 5

Our stay was short, but VERY enjoyable! Property was very clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked as far as dishes and tools, and many fun things to keep grandkids busy. Needs better instructions on garage door, and how to open, as getting bikes out through the house was not easy. Additional brochures of attractions would be helpful, and also beach access information in the area. The main bathroom tub did not drain well, but was useable and clean. Overall we loved it, and would visit again for sure.

This is a very quiet, quaint beach cottage, well maintained, nice and clean, and tastefully decorated. Very homey feel, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Pleasant

 • 4 of 5

The stay was pleasant, the view was nice. No coffee grinder (said there was one in the details), the garage door wouldn't open so we couldn't ride the bikes and the Air Hockey table didn't work but it was a nice place

You me and the sea

 • 5 of 5

This was an awesome beach house. Has lots to do to keep you busy having a good time. There's a fooseball table, air hockey table, bikes and scooters, the porch is a great spot to have your meals and finish off the night looking at the stars. Beach is pretty close, about 8 min walking distance. The beach is also more private. Not crowded at all. Friendly neighbors also.

Wonderful family vacation

 • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here for a family vacation. We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect. The only possible set back was the location away from the beach which was about a ten minute walk. Other than that the house was cozy, comfortable, and clean! We enjoyed our stay very much!
