I have lived in Berkeley with my family for over 35 years. I have rented out an in-law unit in my own home and enjoyed meeting many people from all over. I have two children and work as a project manager in the health industry. My hobbies include hiking, biking and martial arts. I love to travel and enjoy helping visitors find unique and interesting things to do.

This property is very conveniently located for seeing the San Francisco area, Berkeley being in itself a city worth spending time in. It has a garage for those that want to have a car, but a car is not necessary since shopping and transportation is within easy walking distance.
Location, location, location! The unit is clean and well appointed making it a wonderful place to call home while visiting the bay area.
The apartment was clean and well supplied and was exactly as advertised. We would happily stay here again.
The apartment was in an amazing location! 2 blocks from Gourmet Ghetto - a short walk from downtown Berkeley and Cal. The apartment was very clean and large. My only issue was the mattress in the master bedroom was too soft. Otherwise the property was great and I would stay there again! The washer/dryer was an added bonus!
This is the second time we have stayed at Terry and Pam's rental and we will be back. We lived in the Berkeley area for 10 years and are familiar with everything it has to offer. We have also stayed at other rentals in Berkeley. This rental is the best combination of comfort and convenience in the area. You can walk to the best restaurants and shops in town, in addition to UC and parks such as the Berkeley Rose Garden and Codornices Park. Best value in town!
Loved the location. The house was very comfortable and I would definitely rent it again.
We had a great family holiday (4 people) using this house as our base of operations. The Gourmet Ghetto base that this house offers is in itself very good but also serves San Fran and North Bay areas as well. The house is in very good condition; clean, spacey and fully functional. There was not a single issue that we could bring up against this property. When we next visit the area, which we expect to do regularly, we will look to see if this property is available.
We really enjoyed staying in the "Gourmet Ghetto" which is very well named. The house felt like home from the minute we walked in. We quickly unpacked the car and settled in. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very comfortable. The master bed was somewhat uncomfortable as my husband and I kept rolling to the middle.
We found the location to be great, we were able to walk to the BART station and travel into San Francisco easily. We tried several of the local restaurants, coffee shops and even the Thursday Afternoon Farmers Market. We would definitely stay again if passing through Northern California.
This flat is located near several food stores, restaurants and boutiques. It is only blocks from the University of California, live theater, parks, tennis courts and public transportation to get into San Francisco. A little further and you can hike in several regional parks. Visit the Hall of Science, botanical garden or golf in Tilden park. All within a few miles.
