Why Holly chose Thomaston

This home has been in the family for a few generations. Ross' grandfather owned it first, his father was raised in this house and then Ross bought it from his grandfather in the year 2000. It has a classic New England Home cozy feel. We love the midcoast as it offers so much in the way of beauty, activities, great food and all four seasons. We enjoy every season and what it offers here in Maine.

What makes this house unique

This location is perfect for people wanting to be closer to shops and restaurants versus being farther out in the country. It is also in a quieter area off of Rte. 1 and with a large yard on a corner lot. It is also reasonably priced for people on a budget.

Great for a group or family.

  • 5 of 5

We loved having four bedrooms as we are all retired and like our own space. The kitchen was well equipped. There isn't a dishwasher, but that wasn't a problem. The living room and dining room were spacious. It was convenient to Rockland and surrounding towns. Holly was very helpful. I definitely would recommend this property.

4th of July weekend

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6 and I had an amazing relaxing 5 days in this sweet, cozy and comfortable home. The house was super clean and filled with all amenities for everyone. Even our boston terrier was quite comfortable and content. Bedrooms are comfortable with comfy linens and quiet atmosphere. Owners are super pleasant. Thank you for providing us with information as well as flyer of things and places to visit. During our stay we enjoyed the 4th of July town event and extravagant firework from the doorsteps of the house. Great time for the whole family.

Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope we can't revisit next year.

This old house is a treasure & was fun to stay in. We will definitely want to rent it when we come back again. It was a pleasure to meet the owner & have her give us a tour.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was perfect for our family to spend time together. Holly was more than accommodating and had the house well-stocked with all of the amenities we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable and centrally located traditional Maine home away from home.

Best Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location, small quaint town, 1800's home right out of a romance novel. Holly and her family were perfect hosts. This was a perfect location to relax, or to get out and sight see. A great place to unwind! I would defiantly recommend you stay here.
