We are located in the center of Prince Edward Island

O'Reardon House is our personal residence which we offer to vacationers who choose to visit Prince Edward Island during the summer months. Our home was built in 1997 on a one and a half acre lot. Our central location allows you to be close to everything our province has to offer.

The historic city of Charlottetown is just a twenty-minute drive from O'Reardon House. Charlottetown played a significant role in Canadian history as it was here, on Prince Edward Island, one hundred and fifty years ago, that that the Fathers of Confederation gathered to discuss forming a new nation….Canada.

We are a short drive from Cavendish, a community world renowned for its beautiful beaches. For more details on Cavendish and other tourist destinations on PEI, you can search the tourism PEI website.

There are a number of restaurants and golf courses nearby as well. Be sure to check out one of a number of restaurants specializing in lobster dinners!

Eagles Glen Golf Course, Anderson’s Creek Golf Course, Green Gables Golf Course and Glasgow Hills Golf Club are all within a 19km/12 mile radius.

O’Reardon House has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. We offer a very clean and comfortable establishment including all the amenities you would require. The upstairs has the three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with ensuite bathroom which has both an air tub and shower unit. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Our upstairs also has our washer and dryer units, conveniently located in the hall at the top of the stairs.

On the main level we have a half bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and common area off the kitchen. Our kitchen is fully equipped.....cutlery, utensils, pots, pans etc.

We built the home in 1997. Randy is a school principal and Wina is a dental hygienist. We have two teen aged children.

In the summer, we retreat to our summer cabin in nearby Brackley, Prince Edward Island.

Why our property? We offer to our customers, a very well-maintained family home which is conveniently located in the center of our province.

Our summer cabin is fifteen minutes from O'Reardon House. Should there be any issue with your stay, we can be on-site to take care of you.

When you arrive to our property, we meet you and do a walk-through together. This initial encounter allows us to offer suggestions to restaurants and other attractions. Most importantly, it allows you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

What makes this house unique

O'Reardon House is just fifteen minutes from Cavendish Beach. The sunset alone is reason to visit Cavendish.

This home was outstanding :) from the moment we arrived we felt comfortable. The house was very clean and had a large beautiful kitchen. We highly recommend this property and have decided to visit again next summer.

An excellent vacation experience

We are a family of three from Germany, who stayed in the house for a week in August 2014.

We were in Canada for 2 months and visited PEI and Nova Scotia. We rank this house under our top three.

It is very comfortable, silently located, easy to reach and fully equipped with everything you need.

The scenery (when looking through numerous windows) is beautiful and has fields and greenland.

There is a small terrace and a BBQ.

The house itself is centrally located and every place around can be reached in a few minutes drive

(groceries, gas station, farmers markets, PEI National park, etc.).

The street in front of the house is not busy and brings you everywhere. It's easy to drive to Charlottetown,

Cavendish & PEI National Park. There is even a German Bakery (smile) nearby.

You can do a lot around.

We visited several times Charlottetown, made a bicycle tour in the national park, enjoyed the beaches,

had a short introduction to playing golf and also did a small trekking tour.

The beaches (PEI National park) are very close (10min drive); they are pristine, the dunes are magical, and the water was not as cold as we thought, although the weather wasn't the best.

There are good restaurants and you shouldn't miss the famous "lobster dinner".

The hosts are very friendly and helpful (gave us a lot of hints). We loved to be there and it wasn't easy

to leave and continue the tour.

Overall, an excellent vacation experience.

Harmony House is a great venue for live music and comedy acts. Harmony House also offers food and drinks. O'Reardon House to Harmony House is just a five minute drive.
