The BEST!!!

"This lodge was amazing, and the views were breathtaking! We had a total of 20 guests, and the house provided more than enough room for everyone. The accommodations were far better than any hotel I have ever had a stay in! The lodge was also only a short drive from Biltmore Estates and other dining options. This will definitely be my stay of choice during my next trip to Asheville! Simply wonderful!"

Pull up a chair and take in the view, observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fire flies come out to play in your backyard. The spectacular views extend for up to 50 miles in almost all directions.

Why Yonder chose Blue Ridge Mountains

This home offers the peace and quiet of the country while only being 15 minutes from the city. You get the best of both worlds, which makes for an easy decision among large groups with varying interests. This open home has great living and gaming rooms for groups to spend time together as well as ample private spaces for each person to relax in seclusion.

What makes this lodge unique

Asheville Lodge is nestled into 4 acres of forested mountainside. This provides amazing privacy while still being close to town. Also, the kitchen is adjoined by three different dining areas which allows for seating of up to 24 people. For those of who greatly value “family” dinner, this is a wonderful amenity.

Beautiful spacious home

  • 5 of 5

We loved the views from the top of the hill. The house could use a few more bathrooms, as even the master bedroom shares one.

Fading Property

  • 3 of 5

We spent a long weekend at Asheville Lodge in August 2017. At one time, this was likely a very nice house, but it is getting a little rough around the edges. Missing towel bars and toilet paper holders, broken toilet seats, peeling paint and rotting wood in some exterior locations are just a few of the issues. The wireless router also is underpowered and inadequate. It was nothing major, just an accumulation of little things. I also would note that the garbage from the prior party's stay was still in the garage when we arrived, and it smelled really bad. I had to contact the rental agency to get it removed. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this property.

Owner's Response: David, At Yonder, we so appreciate guest feedback -- yes, even when/if that feedback challenges us to do and be better, as is the case here. We will definitely share your comments with the owners and review where improvements can be made. We would add that Asheville Lodge has accumulated a 4.8 average after 51 reviews while in the Yonder portfolio...however, we want to make sure no one feels the same as you, so we will look closely at this. Thanks for your honesty and if you visit the mountains again, we hope you will consider Yonder for your accommodations. Until then, enjoy your summer.

Spacious, warm, picturesque, centrally located, comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Hosted a first family reunion at Asheville Lodge. It was a perfect accommodation; it's luxurious ample space comfortably allowed for private and group time. Centrally located, it was a great launching pad for our daily activities. The surrounding grounds and views were idyllic. We saw a bear and even a white squirrel.

Highly recommended

Gorgeous Views

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay. We rented this home for an annual girl's trip. The house is gorgeous and well appointed. Although, there were only six of us I could easily see the home hosting triple that amount of guests. Lots of living and dining spaces for everyone to spread out into. The views from the house are gorgeous. The staff at Yonder were wonderful to work with and always very helpful. Know that the road leading to the house are pretty windy. Easy access to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville.
