It is on a gated property which has four units. You must have a code to enter. The house and property is just hundreds of feet from the beach. The back yard has a small natural area that is great for bird watching and hanging out while you grill on the gas grill. The back area also has an outdoor shower which is great for washing off shoes and beach equipment before heading inside.
Our home is located on the South end of Tybee. The South end has a large beach area to enjoy. The house is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and night life. It is also close to bike and scooter rental companies.
Parking for the home is in the double garage. Four standard cars can park in the garage. Guests can use pay parking on the street right outside of the property gate. The garage leads directly into the foyer making it easy to bring in luggage by use of the private elevator.
House has an inverted floor plan with the main living areas on the top floor to maximize the views. Home has hardwood floors in bedrooms and living areas and tile in foyer and bathrooms.
First floor: Garage area and tile foyer area. Benches and seats to leave sandy shoes and beach gear before you head upstairs. Great storage for coolers, beach bags, etc.
Second floor: Master bedroom with king bed, television and DVD player. Plenty of space if you need to bring a pack and play for baby area. Master bath has jetted tub, shower with wall and overhead rain shower heads, double vanity and separate toilet room. Huge master closet. Bedroom 2 has a king bed, television and DVD player. Attached bath has tub/shower combination. There is a huge porch off of the master bedroom and bedroom 2 with rocking chairs and tables. Bedroom 3 has one set of bunk beds (both twin) and two separate twin beds, television and DVD player. This room also has an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combination. This floor has a huge laundry room with oversized washer, dryer and laundry sink.
Third floor: Bedroom 3 has a king size bed, television and DVD player and an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is a wet bar area which has an ice machine and a wine cooler. There is a four person high top table for socializing with cocktails, kids game area, a game of cards or to use as extra dining area. The family room features a sleeper sofa, four recliners and plenty of floor space. There is a fireplace for cold winters and a 55' television and DVD player
for family relaxing. Choose a good 'beach read' from a variety of books on the built in bookcases or have a family game night with a choice of several board games. The huge dining table comfortably seats 8. It is near the kitchen counter island area, which can seat an additional 5 people. The gourmet kitchen features convection oven, built in microwave, dishwasher, glass cook top, refrigerator. All appliances are stainless and the kitchen has granite counter tops with stone tile backsplash. There is a huge pantry for storage with an additional sink. The kitchen is stocked with plenty modern small appliances. It is well stocked with all of the kitchen essentials; pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cups, the list goes on. Off the dining and kitchen area is a large balcony with an outdoor dining area and seating. There is also a half bath that services the living areas on the top floor.
Home is tastefully furnished and offers free WiFi and a sleeper sofa. Balcony offers rocking chairs and a dining table.
