About the property

2 Bedroom 1 Bath Close to Everything

**Allergy Friendly Home**I know how hard it is to travel with allergies so I created this space especially for everyone to enjoy. Better than a hotel as you get your own laundry with supplied allergy friendly soap, your own kitchen for cooking and baking, comfortable space to stay while you enjoy the wonderful area. No VOC paint, HEPA Air Filters, Air Purifier, Showerhead Water Filter, Organic Cotton Sheets, No Chemical cleaners used.

Feel free to email with any questions. I try to be flexible with dates.

Quiet neighborhood, large yard, no parties, pets, or smoking on the property. Maps and info provided onsite.

I would recommend Shelde's restaurant off Munson Ave. Family type place with great kids menus. Broccoli cheddar soup is a favorite. If prime dinner time, there is usually a wait but you can call ahead for a reservation. My personal favorite is Poppycocks. Lunch is cheaper than dinner to save a bit of money. Very good healthy food and great kid menus. I love their salads but they also have great pasta. You can usually get in easily. Crusted Creations has the best pizza and are quick. Locations around the city. Omelette Shoppe, off Front and also located downtown, is a great local breakfast place with very inexpensive kid meals and great cinnamon rolls. If it is the weekend, expect to wait for a table. But usually worth the wait. If you want any other suggestions to make your stay better, let me know.

Great location and neighbourhood

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay. Close to downtown Traverse City and a quick drive to the hospital. Perfect for a family of 4 and more than enough for just 1 person. Had tons of information about things to do around Traverse City and is in a nice friendly neighbourhood.

Small house with a great location. Definitely worth the price.

  • 4 of 5

The house had a great location with only about a five minute drive to downtown. All of the appliances worked great, and the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking accessories. The TV and Internet both worked great, and I appreciated the selection of movies that were supplied. When we arrived we had to vacuum and do some light cleaning. I would definitely recommend staying at this house because of the location, price, and condtion.

Cozy and clean

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in this house while visiting Traverse City for a soccer tournament weekend. It is a simple, quiet, and cozy place to stay. Staying here allowed us to make home cooked meals, which is much cheaper than eating out for every meal. There isn't a table to eat at, but the breakfast bar with 4 stools suited our family with teens just fine. We relaxed at the end of our day in the living room (1 chair and a large couch), and watched a couple movies which were provided. Easy to find, central location gave us quick access to everywhere we needed to be in TC. We didn't get a lot of time to explore TC, but it made our weekend much more relaxing to have a home, rather than a hotel, to return to at the end of the day. Thank you!

Quaint and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

The owner and property manager were flexible and easy to work with. We loved having use of the garage. It was just enough space for our family of four. We will definitely consider staying here again great value and perfume free!

Simple house, great location

  • 5 of 5

My family used this house as a Thanksgiving get away and it was a great fit for us. It is simple, not a lot of frills, but it had just enough for what we needed. The owner is fabulous to work with which made our stay even better! The kitchen has some cooking staples that were very helpful as well. We were thankful for the internet and cable as there were some sporting events we didn't want to miss. We'll definitely keep this in mind for future trips to Traverse City!

Just as a reminder there is no a/c in the home, except when we have the window unit installed. We do provide fans throughout the house for your use. Most of the year in northern Michigan a/c is not needed; nor is it typically in most homes in the area. Evenings cool off nicely.
