My wife Saundra and I, with two of our daughters own a business in Corpus Christi. It is a Scuba Diving and Snow Skiing/Boarding Shop named Copeland's. We started in 1958, our dive shop is the oldest in Texas and we have introduced thousands of people to scuba diving and snowskiing over the years.

Why Jim Copeland chose Gulf Coast

As we became somewhat successful we wanted to investment in our future. We bought #910 SeaGull in 1981 as a rental property when it was brand new. Being in Corpus Christi, only 30 minutes away, I felt that we could keep a good eye on our investment and quickly respond to any crises.

We loved how it was so close to the beach and we really enjoyed the sunrise The place was very nice and spacious and everything we needed.
