Born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA I moved to the CHS area in 2006. I fell in love with the marsh view of the townhome and close proximity to the beach. It's a quiet environment and easy to relax. My family and I now live just over the bridge in Mt. Pleasant. We love Charleston and hope you do too!
Jason McGehee purchased this townhome in 2006
This was our first VRBO experience and were very pleased. We had a business, pleasure trip and the location was perfect for meeting downtown or jumping over to Folly Beach on our day off. Unit was clean, comfortable, and right on the marsh so the view from the back deck wasn't too shabby at all.
We selected this property because of the positive reviews. Felt like we were at a different property.
The property is tired and fatigued. Bulbs out, boards popping up on deck, shades do not work, hardware missing on furniture. Walls scuffed and dirty. HDTV doesn't work properly. Creaky bedroom doors. A master bedroom with no closet available because it was locked.
The grounds are a mess. Trash cans strewn on the property, poor parking, no walkways, and dirt in the place of grass. I have seen better maintained government housing. Throw in the fact I missed the rental not having internet - and this was just not an acceptable place.
The property needs some attention - and a lot of TLC. Not a good VRBO experience.
It was very central located. Nice place and clean, had everything you wanted. Fully equipped in the kitchen, even had beach chairs, and cooler.
Plenty of closet space and dresser to put all of your clothes. Comfortable beds and pillows.
For the view in the marsh area, hardly any water. We booked this place because of the water for fishing right outside the patio. Very little water and just a stream of water flowing through. We tried to fish but no luck, water level very low. We feed the little minnows with bread. Over all, it was nice place and the owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Thank you for a good weekend. We would come back again to this place if we come back to Charleston.
Property was convenient to all the touristy things we had planned to do and it was great to have a nice kitchen for our 4 day stay.
Great for 2 couples but the living room would benefit from another chair and a coffee table as a place to rest a beverage!
Clean and comfortable - bathrooms on 2 different floors was unexpected but worked out fine! Owner was easy to communicate with.
A very nicely appointed townhome on a beautiful, quiet marsh. We couldn't have been more pleased...WAY better than staying at a hotel.
Convenient to grocery & drug store for supply purchases. Situated between Charleston and Folly Beach, and we enjoyed both.
Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed our stay- it is quiet and pretty close to Folly beach and Charleston. We saw several crab in the marsh behind the house and enjoyed sitting on the deck while grilling dinner. Would definitely recommend this as a great little inexpensive place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and Charleston.
the unit is right in between Domntown and Folly beach
