About Teresa Simon

Let me tell you a secret about this house. It's been renovated with love, sweat and tears and it all started back in 2005 when my husband moved from New York and bought it. I lived next door and when we met, I asked him to move his garbage cans out of my driveway. But soon I started asking him to salsa dancing and then he asked me to dinner. And we fell in love. The man who bought this house married the girl next door (me!). Two kids and a few years later we kept the homes as rentals and moved a few blocks north.

I left my job at Microsoft and started buffing, remodeling, scraping and decorating this home we've come to love.

We're Team Simon and our whole family works to make this a place you'll love to call home for a while. We love it! And we hope you'll love it, too.

Teresa Simon purchased this apartment in 2005

Why Teresa Simon chose Fremont

We bought this home for the same reason you'll want to stay here.... close to Green Lake (swimming, paddle boats, golf)! Close to the Zoo (animals, outdoor summer concerts)! Grocery store 3 blocks away (last minute wine and snacks)! Right next to the express bus to downtown and close to all the great restaurants in Fremont (cook, schmook... let's go out to eat)! It's the perfect centralized hub to live like a local while still being close to everything the downtown area has to offer. Home away from home!

Location, style & comfort

The top floor apartment was beautifully equipped with anything you might need. The balcony was so nice for morning coffee and the sitting area is comfortable for relaxing after a long day of walking around. Lighting and air temperature were perfect! I highly recommend this spot.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved staying here and thoroughly enjoyed Seattle. Although we had a car with us (plenty of parking for it) we mostly used the bus which is very close to the house, easy to use, and convenient. Saved us the hassle of fighting traffic and paying to park ($70 for parking at Safeco on 8/8!). Teresa was friendly and easy to contact. It was unseasonably warm this month and the a/c felt lovely after being out all day.

Simply the Best

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved this place! This is my second stay at a City Haven property and once again it was exceptional. Great decor, awesome bed and beddings, central air, and a cosy deck entered through french doors off the kitchen. Vibrant, hip neighbourhood and lots of great eats to be found within walking distance. Transit is a couple of blocks away and the bus will take you downtown...or in our case to Century Link Field. Already planning a return trip. Thanks Teresa. Cheers!

Great cozy place to be at the end of the day

  • 4 of 5

Good place, I liked it. There were nice accommodations including TV and washer/dryer. If I had to complain about anything, it was that there is a decent amount of noise coming in from the street when the window is open (when it is closed, the noise insulation is pretty good) and that the space is a little cramped (could not stand straight in parts of the bathroom being about 6ft and the kitchen does not have a lot of turning space). Other than that the location was perfect for access to everything, there was always parking if we needed it and the place itself was well kept and clean. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful Accommodations in Seattle

  • 5 of 5

A prospective guest needs to be able to navigate a couple of flights of stairs. My wife and I had a great time. Enjoyed the balcony with mostly clear weather.

Just a one block walk to the E-Line bus stop which went straight into downtown, no transfer needed. Only took about 12 minutes to a stop near Pike's Market, cost a couple dollars each, and we went when it wasn't busy with workers commuting.

It was a safe neighborhood, no problem with parking as we had a rental for 5 of the days. Parking downtown is a different story, look for Public Parking and expect to pay about $20 for 2-3 hours. It would be easy to catch the Light Rail service from SeaTac into town (at University Street) and transfer to the E-Line Bus (and get off at 46th Street)... no need for a rental car, just Uber if needed.

Overall very pleased !!
