About the property

Our clients do not permit Instant Booking, preferring instead to know who is staying in their home. When inquiring please provide the number and ages of guests in your party, and purpose of your visit. We'll respond to your inquiry within 1 hour of submission during our hours of operation, 9AM-8PM Monday-Friday, 10AM-5PM Saturday and Sunday. We accept all major credit cards with the exception of American Express.

The Lodge at Fox Hollow is 10 minutes north of Downtown Asheville, 15 minutes to Biltmore Estate, 10 minutes to UNC Asheville, 35 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport, 10 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and minutes from all the culture and outdoor activities Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer.

Due to the “high style” of this home it is not recommended for young inquisitive children. The owners have decorated The Lodge at Fox Hollow to provide their guests with a unique experience, and altering it would detract from the experience.

As this home is located in a small private quiet mountain community, the owners do not permit events/parties of any type, or size, to be held at their home. There is parking for a maximum of 6 cars. On street parking is prohibited and strictly enforced.

Perfection! The moment the welcome sign comes into view upon your approach, you'll know you are in for a special at it's finest! This warm and welcoming home beckons you to come in and put your feet up. Relax in the comfortable furnishings, chosen by the owner for your enjoyment.

Enter into the foyer of this 4,500 sq. ft. square log home, with large living room to your right; floor to ceiling natural stone wood burning fireplace, hard wood floors with area rugs, large flat panel TV discretely hidden behind custom cabinetry, and several conversation areas. Featured on the stone wall above the fireplace mantle, is the image for which the home is named. To your left is the hand crafted artisan wood handrail leading you to the lower level, or walk straight through to the back hall with benches, hooks and cubbies, to drop your things and settle in for a real treat!

The kitchen is where all will gather to prepare and share a meal. Open to the living area on both ends, the large french antique parquet wood farm table allows comfortable seating for 12 plus guests, with 4 stools around the island. The AGA stove sits in a stone arch, which backs up to the stone fireplace in the living room. From the large Sub-Zero refrigerator, to the "coffee station", there isn't anything this owner hasn't thought of to make your stay more enjoyable.

Each of the 4 bedrooms, and bunk room, have been decorated in warm tones, with linens so comfortable that you'll have a hard time pulling yourself out of bed in the morning. Each bedroom, and the bunk room, has a flat panel TV, also neatly hidden within custom made cabinets, and each room has plenty of closet space.

The furnished screened in porch, just through the French in-swing doors off the kitchen, is like sitting in a tree house! With gas grill, and yes - another flat panel TV - the living area is extended to the outdoors. OR, choose to gather in the adjoining screened in porch on the far side of the house, and get cozy in front of the wood burning fireplace. There is plenty of room for all to find their own quiet place, if need be.

Fox Hollow sits on 5 acres of wooded bliss, with walking trails. The privacy afforded by this home is only enhanced by its proximity to all major conveniences.

So come and enjoy an unforgettable time at The Lodge at Fox Hollow…we guarantee you’ll wish you had planned to stay longer, and you will be back.

More than stunning!

Rest, relaxation and peace is what you will find the minute you open the front door to this amazing home. The girls at AVL Luxury Vacation Rentals were there immediately for any questions we had prior to our arrival. We can not thank the owners enough for opening their beautiful home to us!

This truly an incredible home! Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriends and I decided to rent a home in Asheville to celebrate a 60th birthday. All I can say is we did not have a want or need! The home is beautifully decorated and user friendly. The bed linens are very soft as well as the mattresses. The bathrooms were all equipped with top quality towels. As far as the kitchen, wow, if you like to cook this is a dream. Top quality cookware and dinnerware. We stayed home one day and cooked all day! If you take a few minutes and read the manual for the "aga" stove you will love it! You even have two lovely porches with one that has a beautiful stone fireplace. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would rent this lovely home again!

A Perfect Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

A must stay property!! This gorgeous home in the mountains felt like a home away from home! EVERY detail is thought of in this beautiful rental. The property manager is also extremely accommodating and helpful! We stayed with another family and we had such a wonderful time. The property around the house is picture perfect and our families enjoyed hiking just outside our backdoor! We will be back next year, thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful moutain paradise!

Unique property - great for large groups

  • 5 of 5

Two families spent a great 4 nights in Asheville. The property was impressively decorated and offered plenty of space for us to spread out and have quiet time in the afternoons. It was conveniently located to rafting, hiking, zip lining, downtown Asheville, Biltmore and grocery stores. Access was very easy (unlike some mountain properties) and management company was great to work with. Highly recommend.

Another fabulous stay at The Lodge at Fox Hollow!

  • 5 of 5

Had a fantastic time in Asheville for an annual girls trip. The Lodge is the perfect place to hang out with your friends on the screened porch. We drank wine, played cards and laughed. It's a short drive to downtown and Biltmore so you can take advantage of all the dining and shopping and then head home to finish your evening comfortably. The beds were amazingly comfortable too!

Mountains of Beauty

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful lodge is tucked away in the woods and offers a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. The decor in the home is nothing short of stunning and regal. Our purpose for travel was to celebrate our Dad's 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. We spent most of our time on both of the screened in porches and enjoyed using the outdoor fire place located on the back porch. The most amazing aspect of this home was how much wild life surrounds it including turkey, deer, and bears. We did actually see a black bear saunter across the driveway but he was merely passing by and did not pose any threat. The home is extremely spacious and was more than enough room for 3 families. We did have our four children in tow ages 1 - 4 and they enjoyed playing outside and on the porches. The home is not childproof and even includes an AGA stove/oven which is designed to not be turned off and is warm to the touch. With little ones around we definitely had to keep a close eye on them to make sure they did not approach the stove and also to ensure they kept their wandering hands away from the beautiful decor. Luckily, the weather was beautiful and we spent the majority of our days playing outside or site seeing. I would visit this lodge a million times more if I could. It was a lovely stay and I highly recommend it.
