About the property

Our clients do not permit Instant Booking, preferring instead to know who is staying in their home. We'll respond to your inquiry within 1 hour of submission during our hours of operation, 9AM-8PM Monday-Friday, 10AM-5PM Saturday and Sunday.

The Lodge at Fox Hollow is 10 minutes north of Downtown Asheville, 15 minutes to Biltmore Estate, 10 minutes to UNC Asheville, 35 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport, 10 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and minutes from all the culture and outdoor activities Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer.

Due to the “high style” of this home it is not recommended for young inquisitive children. The owners have decorated The Lodge at Fox Hollow to provide their guests with a unique experience, and altering it would detract from the experience.

As this home is located in a small private quiet mountain community, the owners do not permit events/parties of any type, or size, to be held at their home. There is parking for a maximum of 6 cars. On street parking is prohibited and strictly enforced.

Perfection! The moment the welcome sign comes into view upon your approach, you'll know you are in for a special at it's finest! This warm and welcoming home beckons you to come in and put your feet up. Relax in the comfortable furnishings, chosen by the owner for your enjoyment.

Enter into the foyer of this 4,500 sq. ft. square log home, with large living room to your right; floor to ceiling natural stone wood burning fireplace, hard wood floors with area rugs, large flat panel TV discretely hidden behind custom cabinetry, and several conversation areas. Featured on the stone wall above the fireplace mantle, is the image for which the home is named. To your left is the hand crafted artisan wood handrail leading you to the lower level, or walk straight through to the back hall with benches, hooks and cubbies, to drop your things and settle in for a real treat!

The kitchen is where all will gather to prepare and share a meal. Open to the living area on both ends, the large french antique parquet wood farm table allows comfortable seating for 12 plus guests, with 4 stools around the island. The AGA stove sits in a stone arch, which backs up to the stone fireplace in the living room. From the large Sub-Zero refrigerator, to the "coffee station", there isn't anything this owner hasn't thought of to make your stay more enjoyable.

Each of the 4 bedrooms, and bunk room, have been decorated in warm tones, with linens so comfortable that you'll have a hard time pulling yourself out of bed in the morning. Each bedroom, and the bunk room, has a flat panel TV, also neatly hidden within custom made cabinets, and each room has plenty of closet space.

The furnished screened in porch, just through the French in-swing doors off the kitchen, is like sitting in a tree house! With gas grill, and yes - another flat panel TV - the living area is extended to the outdoors. OR, choose to gather in the adjoining screened in porch on the far side of the house, and get cozy in front of the wood burning fireplace. There is plenty of room for all to find their own quiet place, if need be.

Fox Hollow sits on 5 acres of wooded bliss, with walking trails. The privacy afforded by this home is only enhanced by its proximity to all major conveniences.

So come and enjoy an unforgettable time at The Lodge at Fox Hollow…we guarantee you’ll wish you had planned to stay longer, and you will be back.

Another fabulous stay at The Lodge at Fox Hollow!

  • 5 of 5

Had a fantastic time in Asheville for an annual girls trip. The Lodge is the perfect place to hang out with your friends on the screened porch. We drank wine, played cards and laughed. It's a short drive to downtown and Biltmore so you can take advantage of all the dining and shopping and then head home to finish your evening comfortably. The beds were amazingly comfortable too!

Mountains of Beauty

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful lodge is tucked away in the woods and offers a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. The decor in the home is nothing short of stunning and regal. Our purpose for travel was to celebrate our Dad's 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. We spent most of our time on both of the screened in porches and enjoyed using the outdoor fire place located on the back porch. The most amazing aspect of this home was how much wild life surrounds it including turkey, deer, and bears. We did actually see a black bear saunter across the driveway but he was merely passing by and did not pose any threat. The home is extremely spacious and was more than enough room for 3 families. We did have our four children in tow ages 1 - 4 and they enjoyed playing outside and on the porches. The home is not childproof and even includes an AGA stove/oven which is designed to not be turned off and is warm to the touch. With little ones around we definitely had to keep a close eye on them to make sure they did not approach the stove and also to ensure they kept their wandering hands away from the beautiful decor. Luckily, the weather was beautiful and we spent the majority of our days playing outside or site seeing. I would visit this lodge a million times more if I could. It was a lovely stay and I highly recommend it.

40th Birthday Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing first stay at The Lodge at Fox Hollow and can't wait for an excuse to return. We hosted 7 couples for a weekend getaway. The house is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and a perfect place to relax. We spent time at the Spa at The Grove Park Inn, shopping in Biltmore Village, and visiting breweries in downtown Asheville and the house was perfectly located for each of these. We spent each morning drinking coffee on the porches and ended each night with drinks by the fire on the big porch. While we had amazing weather for our weekend (highs in the 70's!!), we really appreciated having lots of throw blankets to use while relaxing on the porches - such a nice touch! I highly recommend this home for any group of friends or family looking for a one of a kind vacation home in a perfect location with no detail overlooked.

Another great weekend in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at The Lodge at Fox Hollow and hopefully not our last. It is becoming our family's annual holiday destination. The house is impeccable with no detail overlooked...better stocked than my personal home. The setting is beautiful and private but only minutes to downtown Asheville, Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn. We absolutely loved the new screen porch with outdoor fireplace. It was a great spot to gather and watch wildlife! Lots of good memories created here.

Outstanding Color Season Stay at The Lodge

  • 5 of 5

Our weekend included 10 family members from across the US to enjoy color season in Asheville over Halloween weekend. I can't decide which was more fantastic: the actual breathtaking colors of the Asheville fall or the impeccable, stunning, well appointed accommodations at The Lodge. It was a warm weekend and we got to enjoy both porches: the one off of the kitchen and the stand alone one with the fireplace. The entire place seemed to be out of the pages of Architecture Digest. The bedrooms, living room, sitting rooms and huge kitchen / eating area were absolutely beautiful and very cozy. All the candles were timed to go on at night which made for enchanted evenings. Everyone in our group was highly impressed and pleased - many taking pictures of all the rooms to show others back home! There was plenty of room for our entire party and everyone found and loved their own personal space. The bathrooms were beautiful, sparkling and very clean. There was sufficient parking in the driveway for everyone.

Asheville itself is terrific, but the real "aha!" was The Lodge. We will be back and highly recommend The Lodge for a truly outstanding, impressive, relaxing and highly enjoyable time!

Girls Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This home was absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for our ladies weekend in Asheville! The house was decorated for Christmas and was stunning. It was just a quick drive to downtown Asheville and only a few minutes away from the grocery store. We all had so much fun and look forward to renting this home again!
