About Jason Cox
We own a local brewpub in downtown Pagosa Springs and have lived in Pagosa since 2008. We love to ski, snowboard, hike, mountain bike, raft, tube, play disc golf and hang outside enjoying the wonderful majestic beauty and weather of the Colorado San Juan Mountains.
Jason Cox purchased this House in 2008
Why Jason Cox chose Archuleta County
We purchased our home off the foreclosure market in 2008 and it was originally built in 1997 with the intention of being a bed and breakfast. The house design includes three separate sleeping areas with two bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom on the main level and a bedroom and sleeper sofa in the walkout basement level. The solitude of the neighborhood along with excellent mountain views and a beautiful piece of property add icing to the cake!
What makes this House unique
Views, views, views. Solitude and quiet. Wide open spaces. Beautiful sunsets. Majestic mountains. Oh yeah...and the log home that sits smack dab in the middle of the three acre property is gorgeous, too!

Relaxing location for our latest family gathering!
The house was perfect for the week our family spent together. Pagosa Springs had plenty of springtime activities to keep the energetic entertained while the rest of us old fogies relaxed in the spacious great room admiring the views of the San Juan Mountains. The wrap around porch was the perfect setting for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while watching the sun flood the peaks to the north, and the hot tub helped soak those aching muscles from hiking nearby Treasure Falls and the Piedra River Trail. The kitchen had enough cookware and service to feed thirteen, with an electric griddle for cooking breakfast, and bakeware for my sisters to make cakes and other treats. Jason was a gracious host, and was available if needed to answer questions. We will be keeping Pagosa Springs on our list for future family gatherings!
Great location, roomy and awesome view.
Our #1 criteria was a hot tub and it was perfect. It was extremely clean and ready to use when we got there! House was well stocked and the bedroom locations offered privacy with separate bathrooms. The house was easy to find and a perfect location for skiiing at Wolf Creek.
We appreciate your family staying and enjoying the outdoor hot tub. It's certainly a great way to unwind year round in the hot tub, but certainly even better in the winter after a long day skiing at Wolf Creek. Thanks for staying and we look forward to having your family again in the future.
Loved this place!!!!
Our family loved the view every morning and all the small amenities, like a pair of scissors and extra blankets, were so helpful. My daughter loved the hot tub and didn't want to get out. The bottom floor was really great for my son and his family of 4 with two toddlers. They weren't disturbed and neither were we. Thank you for a lovely stay, and we have decided we will be back in the winter, but we also want to visit in the summer!
Thanks for the nice feedback. We're glad your family found the flexible accommodations worked for your needs. One of the best parts of the house is its ability to adapt to a number of needs for different parties. The hot tub and view certainly don't hurt, either!
Beautiful property with all the amenities you need.
We were a family of ten. Plenty of room for three families with children. Happy there were baby gates as we had an active 2 year old that loved following her older cousins around. We all enjoyed the foosball table. Gorgeous views and the hot tub was definitely a plus. Would stay here again.
We're glad your family stayed and we try to keep everything the whole family needs to have fun and be safe...including child safety gates and foosball tables among other things!
Love this place. We will be back!
This was our third year to stay here. As always it was a great experience. We had an issue with the hot water and Jason was out in less than fifteen minutes to fix it. Great property and great owner!
We try to respond to any issues as quickly as possible and I appreciate your patience as we addressed the issue with the dishwasher. All is working great now as our plumber took care of a new garbage disposal and that fixed the dishwasher, too. Woohoo!
This is our 3rd year in a row to go to Pagosa and this house was the furthest away we have ever stayed and I enjoyed it the best. It has plenty of space and a great view!!!!
The house is a few miles outside of Pagosa and it's nice to have a countryside vibe with less than a 10-minute to drive to downtown Pagosa Springs. The best of both worlds!
