We just returned from our cruise and overall it was amazing! We booked all 6 cabins on the Lagoon 620, Our crew, Bernard and Bea were wonderful and we absolutely loved them! Bea cooked meals that were to die for. We had a mix of vegetarians, pescatarians, and guests who don't eat red meat, and other dietary restrictions and Bea was very accommodating. We had so much fun traveling from spot to spot which were all beautiful and amazing. Bernard was very accommodating and we always felt safe under his watch. We can't say enough about our crew and the places we visited!!!! Regarding the booking/customer service team in the states, there was certainly a lack of communication. We were given a sample itinerary and a list of things that were included in the price. We booked our trip 18 months in advance and during that time there were questions that our group would ask. The response time on e-mails and phone calls was disappointing. Ultimately our questions were answered but I always felt like I needed more. Basically, if I missed a question to ask the information was not provided. We should have been provided more details. There was basically just a lack of customer focus and customer service with the office team in the states. Initially we were told we would have 2 sea kayaks and we could pay extra to also have SUPs. As time got closer ,we were then told we couldn't have the SUPs. Our group drinks more than two glasses of wine a day. We inquired about extra alcohol and was told to get it before the boat left the harbor because it would be hard to get throughout the trip. That was not the case. There were two stops, Soper's Hole and Bitter End in which there were grocery stores that sold alcohol, beer, water, soft drinks, and snacks. Another concern was the direction to meet the boat at 6pm. We got there but the office was several blocks away. This detail was not provided and we had to ask around to find out where to go. Our main complaint is the communication regarding the sail to and from an island outside of BVI to the BVI islands. The itinerary indicated an overnight sail to/from St. Martin/BVI but it did not explain that this overnight experience was not very pleasant. The seas were 4-7 foot swells and it was extremely rough with a few guests getting sick. I wish we would have been given the option to fly into Tortola and start and end the trip from there.
This looks like a great boat and crew! Good value I would say.... Interesting sheduled itinerary - there is more info on all the places to see on a Caribbean yacht charter here: charterworld.com/?sub=caribbean-yacht-charter
