We created this beautiful town-home, just 200 steps from Siesta Village & 2 blocks from the beach, to be our ideal home away from home. It's a beach side retreat that we are excited to escape to! Everything is new - from granite kitchens with stainless steel appliances, to the pool, to the Vera Wang Bedding. It's perfect for one large family or 2 families. The duplex offers 2 separate units, side-by-side, that share a private backyard and pool. Each has 2 bedrooms (a Master with a King Bed and 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds, there are also new air mattresses for additional guests.)

Everything has been completely remodeled - with each side having new granite kitchens, stainless steel appliances, new bathrooms, new furniture, new small waterfall pool, and new a/c and duct work (great for anyone with allergies). Each unit has a large private washer/dryer room off the kitchen, and two porches - one off the living room and the other off the master bedroom. The duplex has a NEW small, yet lovely waterfall pool with underwater seating. And the location can’t be beat – we are in the heart of Siesta Key Village, literally 2 blocks to the beach and 200 steps to all your village restaurant and shopping needs. You my not even need a car.

Great property, fantastic location! We had a large group and rented both units. They were beautiful, very clean and well supplied. David was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely return!

Great House, Great Host!

We just got back from our stay in Siesta Key. David is such a wonderful host, as everyone says. All of his recommendations were spot on & great.

We were 2 families traveling with 5 kids total all between age 2-6. The house was great- clean & comfortable & easy to be in with young kids. Monitors work between the 2 units, so we were able to put the kids to be & all the adults could hang out in 1 unit & still hear the kids. The little pool was perfect for them, and the location is great. It's so close to town & just a short walk from the beach. We used the free trolley & local taxi's every day. The trolley will stop anywhere along the route if you flag it down, which is different than what it says on their website- and it drive right past the house. We also hired chef Mike at David's suggestion to pre-cook a few meals for us & it worked out great. They were delicious, hearty, & easy to re-heat. The grocery store in town has almost everything you'd need, but the prices are a bit high (we're from NYC & I'd say they're equivalent to here.) Everything was wonderful. Thanks David!

An Amazing Place @ At An Amazing Location

Finding a place on Siesta Key that can sleep 8 people, host a small get together and serve as a central hub for a wedding week without blowing up the budget is a major challenge and one we were tasked with for our wedding in June 2017. We were very fortunate to find this location was available for the week we needed it. We reached out to David to discuss our needs and he responded with a phone call. In today’s Text Message and Email world, that was very refreshing and reassuring. David was not only accommodating and hospitable to our needs, he was excited for our pending wedding.

David was there to greet us upon our arrival with a bottle of wine as a wedding gift. We had only met the man 3 minutes prior. The residence itself was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our week, including a beach wagon and beach toys. The house location is perfect. It’s an easy walk to the Village and beach but tucked away in a spot to be removed from the bustle of the weekend’s nightlife.

David’s hospitality was amazing, he checked in on us regularly and was very responsive if we had questions about the property or about Siesta Key including recommendations on the best places for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every recommendation was spot on.

We highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Location! Location! Location!

Did I say location? A short block from the heart of town, you are near the restaurants, a really nice market and a liquor store and an easy walk to the fantastic, white beach of Siesta Key. I now see why some people said they never used their cars. A perfect place for a large group who want to be together, but giving each other some room. David, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and took quick action on a small problem.

Just back from another great visit to Siesta Key. This was the second time we stayed in David's house on Canal road and I just wanted to say it was another great visit. The house is located within walking distance of everything but tucked away on a quiet street. Its a great place to relax and enjoy both the Siesta Key Village and Beach. If you go be sure to try out the owners restaurant suggestions as they were excellent.

#42 Birthday Celebration

This property exceeded all my expectations in cleanliness, decor, comfort and commodities such has having a full kitchen with extra linens for the bed and plenty of bath and beach towels not to mention having a washer and dryer in each unit was the best. We were a family of 11 (4 adults) , (3 teenagers), (4 childrens). The younger ones really enjoyed the pool and the patio the teenagers enjoyed being able to walk around the village and we all enjoyed the beautiful beach as well having the homemade ice cream right in the corner, a few drinks and the delicious pizza and pasta all in walking distance. We had a fantastic stay and as well as all the our other guest comments we barely used the car only to get out of the island... David the owner is very accommodating and makes sure his guest are welcomed. We will forsure be back next year in the summer!!!

I was a visitor to Siesta Key every year of my life before making Siesta Key my home.

My wife and I believe in making something beautiful, and trust that the right people will come to enjoy it. We believe in the motto - if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well.

Why 312 Canal Road? We love the beach and village and the best part of our location is that you can walk to everything! It's a great place to celebrate a family gathering, reunion, or special vacation. We also made this duplex into a beautiful home that we wanted to live in. I'm a graduate of Cornell's Hotel School and take hospitality very seriously. I'm very satisfied when my guests have a great stay.

Please tell us about your vacation plans and if you are celebrating something special, so we can best accommodate you! We are also locals and can tell you additional details about the area that you might want to know to make your trip special... from where to get a great breakfast (the Sungarden cafe - 2 minute walk from our house) to where to find the best ice cream cones - (Big Olafs - also a 2 minute walk from our house) to where to picnic on the beach! Siesta Key is really an amazing place.

Why David chose Siesta Key

3 Reasons: 1 - Unbeatable LOCATION near beach and village. It's really nice not to have to drive anywhere! 2 - We offer one of the nicest homes in Siesta Village: everything is NEW inside! 3. Last, but not least - us. We live nearby and are hands on to make your trip special.

My wife has impeccable taste, so you will feel special here. My dad is a retired architect and has personally designed many of the property's features including the new front entrance. There is a good chance you will meet him as he enjoys taking care of the landscaping. Check out the pictures and feel free to inquire about any of the details. We are relatively new to VRBO, so we will add to this description as time goes on.

What makes this house unique

We could not find an upscale vacation rental when we got married on Siesta Key 10 years ago. Our home comes fully equipped with high-end finishes for the discerning traveler including: finer linens, beach towels, Vera Wang Bedding, beach chairs, new kitchens, and more. A short walk to the beach and village! Siesta Key Beach was recently voted number one in the world. While a car is helpful to see the rest of Sarasota, if you are in shape, you can walk to the beach several times every day ... and the best restaurants are even closer.

At night, you can sit on the porch and hear great music coming from Siesta Key Village. It's really nice not to have to drive anywhere!

We mentioned some of the new features like granite and stainless steel kitchen, which you will enjoy. We also didn't spare an expense on the mechanicals which will make your stay nicer. We have the most expensive high-end elongated toilets and also installed new carrier air-conditioning systems and duct work (great for allergy sufferers.)
