About owner/property manager
My husband and I built this four-plex in 2006. We rent three of the units to full-time residents and our unit to summer travelers. We exclusively use our unit in the winter to enjoy skiing at Mt. Alyeska. My husband has been on the Alyeska Ski Patrol for over 20 years and our children grew up skiing on the mountain.
owner/property manager purchased this Townhome in 2006
Why owner/property manager chose Girdwood
We chose this property because of the wonderful location. During the winter, our property gets a ton of sunlight compared to other properties next to the mountain. We also love how the property is adjacent to the bike trail and across the street from a salmon stream. It is also very close to restaurants and a very short drive to the base of the mountain.
What makes this Townhome unique
We have two kids bikes for use and a fire pit with wood right off the back deck. The bike trail makes easy walking to all locations and for exercise. Girdwood is a great jumping off point to visit Whittier, Seward and Chugach National Forest and only a short drive to Anchorage.

A wonderful option for multiple or extended families
The home was beautiful and Patty went the extra mile in ensuring our children had many activities to do right from the house. We took advantage of the washer/dryer and really appreciated the kitchen facilities. I would happily stay there again. The three bedrooms made all the difference and was so much more enjoyable than getting two hotel rooms.
We loved the place, and Patty was friendly and helpful. Everything was there, it was clean and bright, the kitchen had all the cooking equipment we needed, and there were plenty of towels, pillows, etc. I highly recommend it!
Wonderful property and very friendly owner. Patty was great!
Our family of grandparents, sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughters spent 2 nights at this property. Great location and such lovely accommodation. Everyone loved it. Very convent to attractions and restaurants.
Patty was helpful and the place was beautiful!
We were there for our wedding and we were in a perfect area to do just about anything. The place was perfect and like brand new. I would recommend this place to anyone
A wonderful place to stay!
We loved our stay at this townhouse! It met our needs perfectly. The owners were also very helpful and easy to work with.
Great townhome close to everything
This three bedroom townhome was the perfect base for our Alaskan vacation. We were based in Girdwood for a family wedding at the Crow Creek Mine. It was just down the road so we were close by. It's location is great to be a base to head to other places to see the Kenai pennisula, Whittier, Seward, or many other beautiful places around. Even Anchorage is only about a 45 minute drive away. Communication was super easy with Patty -- she was only a text away!
The home had everything we needed. There was a welcome note waiting for us along with a list of their favorite places to eat and visit. They were spot on. We loved the coffee at The Grind, The Bake Shop and Alpine Bakery were both good. Couldn't miss with pizza at Coast Pizza for a slice or more gourmet at Chair 5. And the views from 7 Glaciers are not to be missed (tip -- book a reservation for dinner or drinks and your tram ride to the top to get to the restaurant/bar is free. If you choose not to eat/drink there, you still get the view or ride!) Didn't make it to Jack Sprat, but will get there on next go around as that is my brother's favorite place in Girdwood!
It had plenty of room for our family of four and everything was very comfortable. We even found travel mugs to use for on the road while we were sight seeing. After we checked out, Patty checked in one final time and wished us well on the rest of our travels in Alaska. She is a very attentive host -- we would definitely recommend her town-home to anyone wanting an easy, comfortable and home-like place to stay away from home!
